Review: Gucci Perfecting Lightweight Moisturizer

Hi loves! How are you all doing? Today's review is on Gucci Perfecting Lightweight Moisturizer (50ml, £45.00). I got it in Look Incredible beauty subscription box.

This is light weight moisturizer, which fits dry, oily and combo skin types. It comes in a gorgeous frosted glass bottle and has a pump. On the bottle is the brands name and the name of the product. It has a beautiful cap with the brand logo on the top and on the side is their signature pattern. Everything about this product is super luxurious!

It feels on skin light weight and sinks into the skin fast. The formula contains skin conditioning ingredients and it doesn't feel stick on skin. Its so refreshing product and usually I use 3 pumps for my face!

I have used it now more then a month and I was worried it will be too light for my skin this time of the year (its winter here), but surpassingly it has kept my skin hydrated and soft. I have combo skin at the moment and I still have beautiful skin on my cheeks, no dry patches, which I do get when the moisturizer is not hydrating enough.

I have to say I'm surprised how much I enjoy this moisturizer. Its light, but effective and it is perfect to apply before doing my makeup, because its not too heavy. My foundation applies on top of it so well. If you are interested you can check this gem out for yourself here.

Review: Essence Cosmetics Insta Perfect Liquid Makeup | 10 Cool Porcelain

Hi loves! Today's review is on Essence Cosmetics Insta Perfect Liquid Makeup and I have shade 10 Cool Porcelain (30ml).

The foundation comes in a squeeze tube, which reminds me of MAC Face & Body Foundation.  Its not my favorite packaging, but its not the worse. I love everything to come with a pump :) This is foundations claims to be waterproof, buildable and it comes in 9 different shades.

I have worn it on and off for weeks with different primers. I have mixed feelings about this foundation. I like how light weight it feels on skin and my skin can breath through out the day. I still do get oily with it and end of the day I don't look so cute. I do loose some coverage around the T zone. Rest of the face is looking good, you wouldn't be able to tell I worn it all day. I have oily T zone, which has been a problem.

I got the lightest shade 10 Cool Porcelain and its bit too light for my skin tone. Its not as noticeable once I blend it into the skin, but for myself I can see it makes me paler then I am.

It hasn't irritated my skin or caused it to brake out. It does contain silicons and fragrance (its not too strong scent), if its something you don't like. You can find the full ingredient list down below.

Down below you can see the demo part of this review. Hope you like it and find it useful :)

Overall I think its okay foundation for the prize point. I think it was below 5 euros. If you have normal skin type it would be perfect for you, but for me I can't use it when I have long days.

Its available on Kruidvat, if you are based in Netherlands or in Belgium.

Have you tried it before?

Review: Sugar Cosmetics Contour de Force Face Palette | 01 Subtle Summit

Hi loves! Today I have for you gorgeous face palette from Sugar Cosmetics and thank you for sending me this. Its their Contour de Force Face Palette in shade 01 Subtle Summit ($21.99).

The packaging of the palette is beautiful with shades of purple on the backround. Its cardboard packaging and it closes magnetically. I love there is no wasted space and inside there is a mirror and 3 beautiful powders for the face: blush, highlighter and bronzer.

These are pigmented powders and these feel super silky to the touch. These do blend out easily and work well together. I love the packaging is compact enough for me to take this trio fro traveling and these shades are classic and would go with any look.

The bronzer is bit too dark for me, so I have to use light hand when applying this, otherwise it doesn't look right on me and I can't use this shade for contouring, because its too warm for my skin tone. I need something lighter and bit more cool toned then this shade in the palette.

The blush and highlighter is perfect for me. The highlighter is champagne gold highlighter and its a classic shade and looks on my pale skin tone beautiful. Now the blush is gorgeous peachy pink shade, which goes with any look.

Overall I do like this palette. I have 2 shade out of 3 that are perfect for me and I cans see myself using the blush and highlighter daily. If you are interested in this palette you can find it here and they do have another shade available for darker skin tone.

Review: BYS Cosmetics Contour on-th-go Powder

Hi loves! Time to share my favorite travel friendly contouring palette from BYS Cosmetics. Its their Contour on-th-go Powder (€6.90). Its also available in full size as well.

The palette comes in a tin packaging and has inside mirror and 6 powder: 3 contouring and 3 highlighting powders. The powders are pigmented, silky smooth to the touch and easy to blend into the skin. Its in perfect size to take with me when I'm traveling.

Down below you can see all the shades swatched and I use for my highlighter the middle shade. Its perfect for my skin tone and brightens everything up. For contouring I use the first shade on the left. Its perfect to create natural shadow.

I want my powders to last long time and these contouring powders stay on me all day without fading or getting patchy. I think this palette is amazing considering its only 7 euros.

Down below you can see the demo video. These blend out so easily and I like this palette as much as I like my Smashbox contouring palette :)

If you are looking new contouring palette, which is affordable and cruelty free this is it. These powders are amazing and so easy to use. You can check this palette out here.

Which is your favorite contouring palette?

Review: Pixi Beauty Pixiglow Cake

Hi loves! Pixi Beauty was kind enough to send me their gorgeous Pixiglow Cakes in shade PinkChampagne Glow and GildedBare Glow (24g, £24.00). These are hosted in a mint green compact with clear lid, so I can see the shades I have. Their packaging always is so cute, but clean and simple.

Both compacts contain 3 shades, which helps to great the perfect cheek and highlighter combo. I use the darker shade mixed with the middle shade as blush, but take it more up and I used the middle shade on the apples of the cheeks. The lighter shade is going to be my highlighter.

These have just the right amount of pigmentation to be the best blushes/highlighters ever. These blend so easily and it doesn't get patchy through out the day. It looks so beautiful and the powders become one with the skin.

Its doesn't just looks good on the skin, but is infused with good ingredients like ceramides, which help to restore skins moisture barrier and peptides help to plump and firm the skin. The formula also contain grape seed extract, which improves skin's elasticity.

Down below you can see swatches of both palettes. Both palettes are so wearable and just stunning.

My favorite of the two is the GlidedBare Glow and its also most worn. I love how it looks on my skin and it enhances it and makes it look glowy and still looking natural.

Thank you Pixi Beauty so much for sending me these beautiful trios! I think I found another holy grail item, which I see myself using over and over and over again. You guys make the best powders!

If you are interested in these you can check it out for yourself here (its not affiliate link).

Have you tried these already? Which is your favorite?

Review: L'Oreal Les Chocolats Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick

Hi loves! I have 3 liquid lipstick shades from L'Oreal Les Chocolats Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick  range. There is altogether 12 shades and I have 844 Sweet Tooth, 852 Box of Chocolates and 585 Oh My Choc!

These come in a beautiful clear frosted tubes and have petal shape applicator, which makes applying the liquid lipstick easier. The applicator helps to line the lips and I don't go outside the lip line. These smell like chocolate and all the shades are from the nude family, which I like.

This formula lasts up to 12 hours on lips and I think its true, because on me it lasts all day even on days when I have eaten something greasy. These don't crack, crumble or flake off. It didn't make my lips feel too dry either and now you might think is there any down side and I have to say there is. These don't dry down matte and there is bit shine to the lips, which doesn't bother me too much. But it is one of the most stickiest lip products I own. Its so sticky, which kind of turns me off :'(

These lip colors are great for days when I don't wanna worry about my lipstick. I can be sure it stays put and doesn't move around. I just make myself deal with the stickiness. These would become my all time favorite lip products, if these wouldn't be any stickiness to them. I guess you can't have everything.

On the left you can see the swatches of all 3 shades I have. I do love the 858 the most and second fave is 852. I don't know I'll use 844 too much. These are all are pigmented and apply evenly. One layer is all I need :)

Overall I'm happy with these. I wish these wouldn't be so sticky. I guess thats why these are so long lasting. Another down side to these would be the removal. These doesn't come off easily with oil. Its pain in the ass to take off and thats why I wear these on special occasion like date night with hubby :)

Review: Juvia's Place The Saharan Palette

Hi loves! Today's post once again is late. My mom is here and we spend the day together. But today's review is on Juvia's Place The Saharan Palette ($20.00)

The packaging of this Juvia's Place palette is beautiful as all their palettes. I love the cover art! It comes in a cardboard packaging and closes magnetically. Unfortunately there is no mirror inside, but it contains 12 gorgeous eyeshadows: 4 mattes and 8 metallic shadows.

The shadows are pigmented, buttery to the touch (at least the metallics) and easy to blend out. I do like this palette, its affordable and has good quality. But I can't do complete look with this palette. I need to take other shadows from other palettes. Its great add on palette for me.

Above and down you can see all the shades swatched. Some of these shaded as so stunning!
  • Sokoto - is a matte neon reddish orange.
  • Wodaabe - is a metallic gold. One of my favorite shades from the palette.
  • Bororo - is a metallic brick red.
  • Kia - is a metallic duo-chrome with green brown shift to it.
  • Zoya - is a metallic peachy nude with golden sheen to it. Its so beautiful shade and so wearable.
  • Iman - is a metallic silvery white shade.
  • Jamila - is a matte orange, which is the most used shade in the palette.
  • Senegal - is a metallic bronze shade.
  • Chad - is a matte black. I have yet to use it, but it swatches beautifully.
  • Katsina - is a matte light brown and it has been the shade I have used in the crease.
  • Lulu - is a metallic rose gold shade and goes well togwether with Fula.
  • Fula - is a metallic light pink, so beautiful shade.

This palette is not something I can just use only it on its own. I do need to use another palette with it, which I don't mind because its gorgeous palette. The quality is awesome and the price point is also good. If you are interested you can check the palette out here and at the moment its discounted.

Down below you can see an eye look I did with this palette. Hope you enjoy it and thank you so much for watching :)
