Review: BYS Cosmetics Butterfly Collection

Hi loves! Today's post is on BYS Cosmetics gorgeous Butterfly Collection. I have the Nude 4 Eyeshadow Palette, Face Dup, Bake & Blend Sponge and Matte Lipstick in Disco Inferno.

Let's start with the eyeshadow palette Nude 4 (12.90€, linkand it comes in a gorgeous tin packaging and has butterflies all over it. Inside there is a mirror, applicator (which I tossed) and 12 eyeshadows: 10 matte and 2 shimmer shadows.

The eyeshadows are buttery to the touch and blend out so well. I love their matte formula. I feel the shimmers, specially the lighter one is not as good. I need to wet it to get intense application. These apply evenly and last on me all day with out creasing (I always use eyeshadow primer under every look). These don't get patchy though out the day and it hasn't irritated my sensitive eyes.

On the left and below you can see the swatches of all the shadows.

  • Dream - is a matte ivory shade. It's bit too dark for me to use as brow bone highlight.
  • Cown - is cool tone light brown, which is perfect shade to use in the crease.
  • Heir - is a shimmery light pink, which applies best wet.
  • Baby Peach - is a matte peach shade.
  • Butterfly - is a beautiful bright pink with matte finish
  • Blossom - looks in the pan way more darker, then butterfly, but reality it just slightly darker pink with matte finish.
  • Rosy - looks in the pan the darkest out of the 3 pink eyeshadows, but is bit lighter, then Blossom and is more dusty rose with matte finish.
  • Princess - is a metallic bronze eyeshadow. It also applies better when it's wet.
  • Queeny - is a matte brown, which is perfect for everyday. It's more cool tone.
  • Sunswept - is a matte warm tone brown.
  • Harmonious - is a matte darker brown.
  • Knight - is a dark brown with matte finish.

I love this palette has nude for everyday and also some fun spring/summer colors. Its so fun palette and perfect for anyone who wants to use color and is afraid. This is easy way to transfer into more colorful looks.

Next is the Face Duo (12g, 3.90€, link), which contains a gorgeous highlighter and matte blush. The highlighter is beautiful light gold and I was worries first its too dark for me, but it actually looked on my pale skin flattering. Its so reflective and gorgeous!

The blush is perfect rosy pink for spring and summer. It's so pigmented and blends into the skin easily. It gives my cheeks fresh color, which lasts all day with out fading or getting patchy as long as I don't touch my face. I have noticed on days when I have touched my cheeks it moves away on that place.

Next item is Matte Lipstick in shade Disco Inferno (3g, 4.50€, link). There is 3 shades in this collection. This matte lipstick is so creamy and its not drying at all. Its pigmented, bright pink lipstick and feels hydrating on lips. It's not completely matte, but I'm oaky with that. The staying power is oaky. It lasts through out drinks, but after having food it does come off, but it does stain my lips, which I personally like.

Its my first time trying their lipstick and I have to say I do like the creamy formula and for the price point you can't go wrong. Its so amazing lipstick and the color is just stunning. Only thing to keep in mind is that it smells like plastic, which you only smell, if you sniff it. There is no taste to it though.

The last item in this review is the Bake & Blend Sponge (5.00€, link). Its harder then beauty blender, but I like BYS sponge more. It blends everything into the skin easily and I just like the shape of it more. It has one side totally straight, which makes blending out the under eye are so much easier. On the picture you can see it wet. It's a big sponge and blending my foundation out goes so fast. I also like how affordable it is compared to the beauty blender.

Overall I love this collection. The quality of the shadows is good. I wish the shadows would be bit more true to the color. My all time favorite has to be the face dup. I just love their highlighter.

Down below you can see all the products in action. I hope you enjoy the video :) I had so much fun to film it.

Review: Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips | Dolly Bird

Hi loves! How are you all doing? Yesterday I was off doing a photoshoot, which was so much fun :) That's why I missed yesterday's post. Today's post is a review on Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips in shade Dolly Bird (£24.00, 6.8ml). There is 10 shades available in this range. These come in gorgeous rose gold packaging and I can see the shade I have. I also like the logo on the tube. Everything about it feels so luxurious. It comes with doe foot applicator, which has a curve, so it hugs the lip so nicely.

The formula of this liquid lipstick feels like its whipped and at first I didn't liked it. After it settled on my lips I did fell in love with it. It feels so light weight on the lips, lasts long with out drying up my lips. I have to say this is hands down the most comfortable liquid lipstick I have ever worn in my life. It is more to the pricy side, but I am thinking of adding few more shades into my collection.

The shade Dolly Bird is a soft brown nude. I have to say my husband gifted it to me. I don't think I would have ever picked this shade up for myself. I wouldn't think it would fits me, but in reality it does and I love it so, so much. It's the perfect everyday nude.

I'm so in love with it! The formula is so grown on me and I absolutely adore this lip color. It's so beautiful shade and goes with any eye look. It also would look nice on different skin tones.

Review: Maybelline Brow Satin Define + Fill Duo

Hi loves! Today's review is on Maybelline Brow Satin Define + Fill Duo (£6.99) and I have the shade Dark Brown. There is 4 shades available. It contains a brow powder and a prow pencil. Its do ended, which I like. The packaging is simple black and has the brand and the products name on it. I have been using it a lot and all the description is come off. Now it looks just black pencil. I wish the print would have lasted on it longer. It gives it a bit cheap feel to it.

On one side is the powder in the cap and the applicator it has makes it easy to apply it through the brows and get even application. It's so easy way to get the brows done is the morning. The thin pencil on the other side help to fill in the holes I have in my brows and overall make the brows look sharper. It has been become one of my favorite ways to apply my brows.

It lasts in my brows all day without fading or getting patchy. I can be sure my brows look perfect all day. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. I would love it to be little bit cooler then it is, but I still like and use it daily.

Above you can see the swatches(on the left) and how it looks on my brow (the left brow). I do like how fuss free it is to apply and it's more affordable product. Overall I'm happy with it and keep using it till its over.

Have you tried it before?

Review: Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Mascara | 01 Black

Hi loves! Hope you are all doing well! Sorry for being away from blog, but I had work related things to do. I was booked all week. This week is going to be mostly free, so I'll be here sharing with you beauty reviews and makeup looks ;) Today's review is on Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Mascara and it's in shade 01 Black (€28.20). It comes in a black tube and has a silver ring around it with the brands name on it and on top of the tube is the symbol of spades, at least it reminds me that.

One of the first things I noticed when I opened this mascara was the mascara wand, which has a very unique shape and also how scented it is. I don't think I have ever owned a mascara, which has fragrance added to it. But I do like the the scent. Its so sophisticated parfum scent. I was worried it might irritate my eyes, but so far it hasn't caused any irritation or uncomfortable feeling.

This mascara wand has been described to do a lot of things. The body of the brush helps to volumize, curl and lengthen the lashes when hold horizontally. The round head helps to define, intensify the result and it helps to reach every lash.

I have been using the body of the wand on my upper lashes and it gives my lashes a lot of length, but not so much volume. The round head is perfect to apply the mascara to the lower lashes.

The formula of it is more to the wet side, but I still like it. Usually I'm not a fan of wet formulas, but this one is not too wet. The mascara wand did took me bit of time to get used to. I'm not loving it, but I can make it work for me. I'm not sure if I would repurchase it, only time will tell.

Review: BYS Cosmetics Euphoria Eyeshadow Palette

Hi loves! Today's review is on BYS Cosmetics Euphoria Eyeshadow Palette (12.90€) and it's also this week's palette. I have been using it daily and I love it. You can see some of the looks I did with it on my instagram (link).

The palette comes in a pink and blue tin packaging. Inside there is a mirror, eyeshadow applicator (which I tossed) and 12 eyeshadows: 2 shimmers and 10 matte. I picked up mine when I was in Estonia the last time.

The palette is full of color and the eyeshadows are easy to blend. The formula is buildable and you understand what I mean when you see the swatches. Overall I like this palette, but there was few shades I had issues with. The matte eyeshadows are bit powdery.

The eyeshadows didn't crease or fade on me through out the day. I always use eyeshadow primer under my eye looks. These also didn't irritate my eyes and I do have sensitive eyes.

Now let's take a look of the swatches and see how I liked the individual eyeshadows.

  • Cloud Nine - is a white pinkish sheen to it. Its has a metallic finish and is the perfect inner corner of the eye highlighting shade
  • Dreamland - is a matte yellow. It blends out nicely and works best on white base.
  • Bliss - is a matte orange. It blended out evenly and I can build the color up. I also pops better on white base.
  • Madness - is a matte darker orange.
  • Rapture - is a matte orange red.
  • Exhilarate - is a matte sheer dusty pink. It can built up and it looks beautiful.
  • Frenzy - is a matte darker dusty pink.
  • Paradise - is a matte lilac shadow. I had hard time working with it. It was so patchy!
  • Elation - is a matte purple. I also had hard time with this one and it applied so patchy. Couldn't make it work.
  • Buzz - is a metallic icy blue. It's so bright shade!
  • Delirium - is a matte apple green. It applies on eyes better then it swatches.
  • Gratify - is a matte yellow green. It looks so pretty and bright on white base.

Down below you can find the demo part, which is also this week's one week one palette 4th video. I have so much fun filming this series. I hope you guys enjoy it :)

Overall I like this palette. Its great budget friendly product. It's also great way to experiment with colorful eyeshadow. If you are interested in it, you can find it here and they do ship in the European Union.

Review: Tom Ford Lip Color Matte | 37 Best Revenge

Hi loves! Today's post is a review on luxurious lipstick from Tom Ford. Its their Lip Color Matte in shade 37 Best Revenge (€54.00). It comes in a gorgeous deep brown and gold bullet. It has sweet vanilla scent to it and there is 20 shades available.

I'm a huge fan of matte lipsticks and I usually wear liquid lipsticks. I do make it a point to wear regular lipsticks too, because the formula is more forgiving. I have been wearing this Tom Ford matte lipstick and its the most comfortable matte I have tried so far. It doesn't dry out my lips or make the lines show, which I hate. This makes my lips look full and I love the bright color I have.

It glides on lips easily! It's surprisingly creamy for a matte lipstick. It's a pleasure to apply it, plus it's so pigmented. The staying power of it is not as long as some other lipsticks in my collection. After eating it was completely worn off and I had soup. It wasn't greasy food. I don't mind reapplying it, because it is so comfortable on lips.

I think its beautiful lipstick! It's expencieve, but you are paying for the name and the packaging. This is my second lipstick from the brand. One thing to keep in mind is these don't last too long. My other lipstick went bad from them and I needed to declutter it :( I'll make it a point to wear this one way more.

Review: Pixi Beauty Rose Collection

Hi loves! Today I'm happy to share Pixi Beauty Rose Collection with you. This smells so good and makes my skin look and feel amazing. Here you can find all the essentials you need for full skincare routine. The range is infused with rose and its perfect for anyone who loves rose infused skincare like I do.

Before we get into the review I want to mentioned this was sent to me as PR. As usual I always give 100% honest review. If I don't like something I say it.

The first item in this range is the Rose Cream Cleanser (135ml, £18.00). It's with Rose and Chamomile flower. This is nourishing cleanser with minerals rich mud, which cleanses the skin, strengthens it and also makes it soft. Rose and avocado helps to condition the skin. Chamomile and aloe vera helps to sooth the skin. This is gentle cleanser, so it fits all skin types, even sensitive skin.

Ingredients: Product Details Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Water/Aqua/Eau, Diatomaceous Earth/Solum Diatomeae/Terre de Diatomées, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Montmorillonite, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Squalane, Xanthan Gum, Kaolin, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Disodium EDTA, Rosa Gallica Flower Powder, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Leaf Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Cymbopogon Martini Oil, Cupressus Sempervirens Leaf/Nut/Stem Oil, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Mica, BHT, Linalool.

I use it as my morning cleanser. I like how gentle it is and it's a cream cleanser. I use coin size amount of products and massage my face with it. I do apply it to dry skin, but I wet my hands, so it's easier to massage the face. You can remove it with moist face cloth or rinse it off with water. I like to rise it off with water. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, hydrated and soft.

After I have cleansed my skin I go in with their Rose Tonic (100ml, £10.00) and it's with rose and elderflower. This is nourishing toner. It's soothing and rich with nutrients. It helps to tone, balance the pH level, minimizes redness and soothes the skin. It's not tested on animals, its paraben free and it fits all skin types even sensitive skin.

I use it in the evenings and I love how it rehydrates the skin, which I need this time of the year. I'm really happy with it.

Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Propanediol, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium PCA, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Triethyl Citrate, Rose Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Rosa Canina Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Sambucus Nigra Flower (Elder Flower) Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Betaine, Sodium Citrate, Montmorillonite, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate

Next I have their Rose Glow Mist (80ml), which I wanted to try when I saw it the first time. This face mist is with 7 flower oils, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. This mist moisturizes the skin, improves elasticity and protects against free radicals. I also like the mist it gives is super fine.

You can use this face mist any time of the day, before or after makeup or even through out the day. Before misting shake it. This leaves the skin healthy glow. I have oily skin, so I use it in the mornings as my toner. I love how fresh it makes my skin feel and it smells like rose. Delicious product!

I use it every morning and evening after toner or face mist. I use it as essence and press it into the skin. It sinks into it fast and makes my skin feel and look hydrated, soft and brighter. After the Rose Caviar Essence I go in with the serum.

Next is the Rose Ceramide Cream (50ml) and it comes in a pink metal tube and has roses on it. The packaging is so beautiful! It's a rich cream with Ceramides and rose oil to deeply hydrate the skin. It contains antioxidant rich botanicals, which help to improve skin's elasticity and at the same time protect the skin against the environmental aggressors.  The probiotics help to protect and balance.

It does contain silicons in the ingredients list and thats why I use it as my day cream. It has a slight fresh scent to it, which I like. The formula of it is very light and it sinks easily into the skin. I have oily to combo skin and it's not too much for my skin type. It leaves my skin hydrated, soft and bright. I love how light weight it feels on skin and its the kind of product I like as my day time moisturizer.

Next is their Rose Flash Balm (45ml), which comes in a cute pink squeeze tube. It can be used as a treatment mask or as a makeup base. I have been using it as my makeup base. It's so good for that! Its described as perfect pick me up treatment for fatigued skin. The oil free formula instantly moisturizes and brightens the skin.

Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Propylene Glycol, Octyldodecanol, Tapioca Starch, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Triethyl Citrate, Aminomethyl Propanol, Sucrose Cocoate, Glycerin, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Rose Extract, Bisabolol, Ethylhexylglyercin, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Citrate, Red 40 (CI 16035).

I like to apply thin layer of it over the skin before doing my makeup as a primer. It does something amazing to my skin. My skin feels plumper, brighter and makeup applies better. I think this is my favorite way to use it. I have to be honest I haven't used it as a mask. It's recommended to apply thick layer and to do the mask 2-3 times a day and keep it on for 5 minutes. I like it can be used as a moisturizer, mask and a primer.

In the evenings I have been loving to use their Rose Oil Blend (30ml) and it smells so good. It comes in a mint green glass bottle and has a dropper. It's infused with powerful complex of youth preserving oils to help improve skin's elasticity. The sweet almond, rosehip, jojoba, pomegranate seed and rose geranium oils help to nourish the skin. It fits all skin types.

I use this oil as my evening moisturizer, after I have used my essence and serum. I use 3 drops for my face and I massage it into the skin. It skins into the skin fast and leaves the skin feeling hydrated, soft and brighter. I feel oils are the trick to keep the fine lines and wrinkles in check. Also I can't live through winter with out face oil and the Pixi Rose Oil Blend has been fantastic partner. I see myself repurchasing it.

Ingredients: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Punica Granatum Seed Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil.

The last item is the Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist (80 ml). It's with rose water and green tea. I have reviewed it already on my blog, so I'm not going into it here. If you are interested you can read the review on it here. I do like to set my makeup with it and I also use it through out the day to refresh my skin.

I'm so happy with this collection and so thankful for Pixi Beauty to send it to me. Thank you so much! I love rose, so this collection feels like its made for me. I definetly have favorites here like the Rose Oil Blend and Rose Flash Balm, which I need constantly in my life.

Which are your favorite products from this range?
