Review: Jeffree Star Jawbreaker Collection

Hi loves, today's review is on 2 palette from Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Collection. The first is the Jawbreaker Eyeshadow/Pressed Pigment Palette (24x1.5g) and the Mini Breaker Eyeshadow/Pressed Pigment Palette (9x1.5g). I have been using these for weeks and I'm ready to share my experience with both palettes.

Let's start with the big palette and it's the Jawbreaker. It comes in a gorgeous metallic pink packaging and inside is a big mirror and 24 eyeshadows: 17 mattes and 7 metallics. The formula of both is very good. There where few mattes I did have issues with, but nothing I can't make work. Overall the quality is great as expected. These blended out easily and worked well with other powder eyeshadows. I didn't experience irritation when I used these eyeshadows and I have sensitive eyes. Some of the eyeshadows from the palette did stain the lid. Also these stayed on all day with out creasing or fading. I do use eyeshadow primer under all my eye looks.

Down below you can see the swatches of all the shadows from this palette. Overall all the eyeshadows are pigmented, but some of the eyeshadows didn't swatch as well as other shadows. You can see it for yourself down below.

  • Virgin - is a matte bone yellow white.
  • Good Morning - is a matte pinky nude shade.
  • Bubble Gum - is a matte pink.
  • Wow - is a matte neon yellow.
  • Suck - is a matte true orange.
  • Licorice - is a matte pure red.
  • Cute - is a matte teal.
  • F**k - is a matte pinkish coral.
  • Gum Drop - is a matte true purple.
  • Snack - is a light pink with glitter finish. It looks so beautiful.
  • Brain Freeze - is a matte baby blue.
  • Jawbreaker - is a reflective silver with shimmer finish.
  • And What? - is a red with metallic finish. (I made typo on the picture below it should be and not amd)
  • Orange Juice - is an orange with metallic finish.
  • Sour - is a matte light green
  • Soaked - is a matte cobalt blue. It's one of the eyeshadows I had issues with.

  • Raspberry  - is a matte deep maroon.
  • Cotton Candy - is a bright pink with metallic finish.
  • Lemon Drop - is a metallic yellow.
  • Bite Me - is a metallic deep purple.
  • Cherry Wet - is a matte bright fuchsia red.
  • Tasty - is a matte deep brown.
  • Cone - is a matte champagne nude.
  • Delicious - is a matte dark navy. It's another eyeshadow, that didn't swatch well and I had hard time working with it.

Overall I'm so happy with this palette. I can create many beautiful looks with it and there is only 2 eyeshadows I'm not loving. Considering how huge this palette is, I think it's still good outcome.

Let's talk about the Mini Breaker, which comes in a beautiful packaging. It closes magnetically, like the Jawbreaker and inside there is a mirror and 9 eyeshadows: 5 mattes and 4 shimmery/metallic shades. This palette has the same high quality then all the other eyeshadows and I think it's great size to try his eyeshadows, if you haven't. It's also great size to take with me, when I travel. Both palettes are also super sleek.

There are 2 eyeshadows in this palette common with the Jawbreaker palette. And the eyeshadows are Bubble Gum and Bite Me. I would like to have only new eyeshadows and no doubles. The reason I picked this palette up is the shadow Oral. It looks so stunning in the pan. It's reflective silver with duo chrome finish. I also like the color story of the little palette. Now let's look at the swatches :)

  • Double Scoop - is a matte terracotta nude. It's perfect crease color, when you go for warm tone eye look.
  • Orange Crush - is an orange with golden glitter in it. It looks matte but there is some sparkle to it.
  • Foreplay - is a matte cool mauve-y pink.
  • Oral - is a duo chrome with silver reflects. One of my favorite eyeshadows in this palette.
  • Purple Punch - is a matte purple.
  • Slice - is a burnt yellow orange with metallic finish.
  • Bubble Gum - is a matte pink.
  • Bite Me - is a dark rich purple with metallic finish.
  • Hot Fudge - is a matte dark cool tone brown.

I'm so happy with both palettes. I love the color selection and I like I can create nude and colorful looks with these palette. Down below you'll see the demo part of this post. I hope you enjoy the video.

Review: Nabla Cosmetics Major Pleasure Mascara

Hi loves, today's review is on Nabla Major Pleasure Mascara (8ml). I picked it up from Nabla's online store with the last order. First I want to mention I have natural curled lashes and they are long. Keep it in mind when you look at the demo video ;)

The mascara comes in a nude tube and it has a classical mascara wand. I would say the size of the mascara wand is perfect and I didn't make a mess when applying it. I didn't need to be extra carful with the application, because of the wand size. The mascara wand gets all my lashes even the small ones and coats them from root to tip with the product. Formula of it is infused with Polynesian Water. It's rich in minerals and with revitalizing and hydrating properties.

It makes my lashes look so black and gives them tons of volume, which you can see for yourself in the demo video. It does make my lashes long, but I don't get that wow effect with it. Maybe it's something in my head, but I want more from my mascara. This mascara is a great everyday mascara and I don't need to apply it more, then one coat to get great effect.

I have been using it for 2 weeks and I haven't noticed any smudging or flaking. Even in the evenings when I have rubbed my eyes I haven't seen any flaking and it's a huge plus. It's one of the reasons why I like this mascara so much. Also it hasn't irritated my eyes and I have sensitive eyes. I find so many mascaras make my eyes itchy and this doesn't do it.

Down below you can see the demo vide of this mascara. Hope you enjoy it.

Overall I do like this mascara and I see myself repurchasing it. I know I complained about the length, but it's my personal complaint and I still would buy it again. It's so comfortable to wear, doesn't irritate my eyes and it comes easy odd with a remover.

Have you tried it already?

Review: Guerlain Terracotta Hestia Island Bronzing & Blush Powder

Hi loves, today's review is on Guerlain Terracotta Hestia Island Bronzing & Blush Powder (25g). It's a limited edition and Guerlain comes out with these every summer.

The duo comes in a beautiful golden packaging, which looks gorgeous. The packaging reminds me some reason Greece. I think it's the turquoise with the brands logo on it, that does it for me. To open it, I need to turn the lid to open it. Inside it, is a mirror and a beautiful duo of bronzer and a blush.

First thing I noticed when opening this bad boy up was the scent of it. All their bronzing powders have the same famous Terracotta scent to them, because they are all from the same range. It might bother some people who don't like scented beauty products, but I personally love it and I own the fragrance. It's one of my favorite fragrances for summer.

The bronzer has a golden over spray, which goes disappears after first use. You can see on the pictures below how it looked new and now. It's still looks like a beautiful products, but the gold adds the wow factor to it.

I like to mixed both shades together, to get the perfect tanned look to my complexion. It adds a healthy glow to the skin and I like to take it to the cheeks and wear it as a blush. I find it makes a perfect partner for the bronzed beauty look. I find the tone of the bronzer and blush mix is perfect for my pale skin tone. You can see the swatches down below.

I have to say I didn't have any issues with this product. It blended into the skin effortlessly (didn't grab on places or get patchy) and gave me sun kissed complexion, which lasted all day. I'm so impressed by their products. Highly recommend, if you are looking a new products to get summer ready.

Have you tried their Terracotta powders before?

Review: So Susan Dream Maker Light-Shifting Highlighting Cream | Private Jet

Hi loves, I'm happy to share with you gorgeous liquid highlighter from brand called So Susan. It's their Dream Maker Light-Shifting Highlighting Cream and I have shade Private Jet (10ml, $29.00). It comes in a squeeze tube packaging and is available in 9 different shades.

The formula of it is oil free hybrid cream gel base. It has a blend of ultra concentrated mixture of fine mica and holographic, rainbow particles that adjust to the skin tone. It promises to give a dreamy glow. It's formulated with bioactive Tetrapeptide-21 and antioxidant-rich Edelweiss Extract to help fight the appearance of skin fatigue. It's also vegan and doesn't contain any mineral oil, parabens, phthalates and gluten.

How to use: Squeeze out little bit of product and I like to blend it out with fingers first and then I go over it with a beauty blender to make it look seamless. It gives a beautiful glow tho the complexion. Down below you can see the swatched and also the blended out version.

I'm very happy with the look of it. When light hits it, it looks more dramatic, then what you see on the swatch (the blended out version). Another huge plus to this liquid highlighter is the staying power. This baby stays on me all day without fading or losing its intensity. It's bit expencieve, but I like the results and 10ml will last me a long time.

If you are interested checking this highlighter out and see all the shade, you can do so here. I'm so happy with it and I might pick up another shade :)

Have you tried the brand before?

Review: Lethal Cosmetics The Awakening Collection

Hi loves! Today I'm happy to share with you some amazing eyeshadows from cruelty free brand called Lethal Cosmetics. I picked up their Awakening Collection and some of their other single eyeshadow. I'm so excited for the brand and I'm so happy with the selection of shadows I have from them.

Lethal Cosmetics is Berlin (Germany) based brand. They make cruelty free and vegan makeup. On their online store has beautiful selection of eyeshadows and also liquid lipsticks.

I picked up their custom palette, which means I can pick every single shadow in it. I also added few other shadows which are not from the Awakening Collection to get the palette full. I don't mind it at all, because their eyeshadows are stunning.

The palette is magnetic palette and I can put the shadows which ever way I want. It also has a nice size mirror in it and it closes magnetically. I believe the palette is available in 2 colors black and white. I got the white one, because the black was sold out. I would have wanted black, because I got the white already dirty.

The shadows are pigmented and easy to work with. The only thing is the mattes are bit powdery and the lighter shades pop better on a white base. I don't mind the extra prep because the result is beautiful. Another thing to keep in mind is the fall out. Whenever I use their matte shadows I do the eyes first and then my base. Less clean up ;)

Now let's look at the swatches and I have to say these are so beautiful. I love fun and unique colors like these are. I didn't use any base to swatch these.

  • Backdraft - is a metallic peachy shade with golden reflects. It's the perfect shade for summer.
  • Echo - is a metallic coral with pink highlights. It's from the the Awakening Collection.
  • Enigma - is a metallic fuchsia/blue duochrome (Awakening Collection).
  • Cascade - is a matte cherry red from the Awakening Collection.
  • Equinox - is a metallic gold from the Awakening Collection.
  • Relapse - is a matte bright acid yellow from the Awakening Collection.
  • Void - is a matte spring green from the Awakening Collection.
  • Afterglow - is a metallic sheer white with icy blue reflects.
  • Ascension - is a metallic bright blue with aquamarine reflects.
  • Aerial - is a metallic aqua green duochrome from the Awakening Collection.
  • Petrichor - is a matte teal from the Awakening Collection.

I'm so taken with their shadows and love the quality. These don't crease on me through out the day, but I do wear a primer under every eye look. These also didn't irritate my eyes and I have very sensitive eyes. If you wanna see these beauties in action check out the video down below :)

As you can imagine I'm more then happy with these eyeshadows. I can deal with the fall out and its an easy thing to fix. I just love the uniqueness of the shadows and  the quality. Hope you guys enjoyed this review.

Review: Givenchy Prisme Blush Powder Blush Duo | 02 Love

Hi loves, today's post is on something luxurious. I'm a huge fan of luxury beauty products and I have been loving Givenchy Prisme Blush Powder Blush Duo in shade 02 Love (6.5g). It comes in gorgeous ombre packaging. The top part looks like faux leather and I believe the outer packaging is limited edition. This blush is also available with regular black packaging. The most important is what's inside and there is all together available 8 shades.

Inside the compact is a duo blush 2 colors, mirror and an applicator, that I tossed. I wish they would not waste space for these little applicators. I like using my own brushes more.

The blush is formulated with black pearl powder, which is a remineralizer and boosts radiance. Also the pigments used in the blush have a low nickel content for long lasting color. You can see all the ingredients here:
TALC• SYNTHETIC FLUORPHLOGOPITE• ZINC STEARATE• NYLON-12• DIMETHICONE• CAPRYLYL GLYCOL• PENTYLENE GLYCOL• DIISOSTEARYL MALATE• OCTYLDODECYL STEAROYL STEARATE• SODIUM DEHYDROACETATE• LAUROYL LYSINE• PARFUM (FRAGRANCE)• TOCOPHERYL ACETATE• SORBITAN SESQUIOLEATE• PEARL POWDER• GERANIOL• CITRONELLOL• BHT• TOCOPHEROL• +/- MAY CONTAIN : CI 77007 (ULTRAMARINES)• CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE)• CI 77742 (MANGANESE VIOLET)• CI 73360 (RED 30 LAKE)• CI 15850 (RED 6 – RED 7 LAKE)• CI 45410 (RED 28 LAKE)• CI 19140 (YELLOW 5 LAKE)• CI 77491 – CI77492 – CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES)

First thing I noticed when I opened the compact was the blush color and the scent of it. It smells like light floral scent. I personally like it and it hasn't irritated my skin. It might irritate sensitive skin, because of the added parfum.

The shade of 02 Love is beautiful soft pink. It's the perfect pink shade for my pale skin tone. It gives me natural glow and flushed look, which I love.

It's easy to apply it on the cheeks. I just mixed both shades together and apply it to the cheeks. I can be heavy handed with it and it still looks natural and radiant. You can't go wrong with it and that's one of the reasons I like this blush so much. It's pigmented, but not overly and the glow it gives doesn't show in the pan or on swatches. Something magical happens when it's applies on the cheeks. I swatched both shades separately on the picture above and at the end you can see both shades mixed together. I have to say the swatches don't look that different. It's same pale pink, but one shade is slightly darker, then the other.

I'm very happy to have this beautiful blush in my collection. It's gorgeous and perfect to wear on spring and summer. It adds that fresh look to the complexion.

Review: Illamasqua Antimatter Lipsticks

Hi loves, I have been testing out Illamasqua Antimatter Lipsticks in shade Cosmic and Asteroid (4.15g). These come is a square black tubes, which are easy to store. I like in the bottom of the lipstick tube has the sticker of the color the lipstick is. I like to see the shade without opening it. I also feel it's true to the actual color.

The formula of these is semi matte and these are long lasting. These are beautifully pigmented lipsticks, which don't dry out the lips. The formula is not as hydrating as cream lipsticks might be, but it's not as drying as liquid lipsticks are. It's somewhere between. I like to wear these on days when I want to let my lips rest from liquid lipstick. I personally prefer a long lasting lip product. I feel safe it's not moving around and I don't need to constantly reapply it.

On the left you can see both shades swatched. Cosmic is pinky nude and my favorite shade out of the two I own. I feel it last better on my lips and it goes well with different makeup looks.

Asteroid is brick red, which I use only with lip liner. I don't trust darker lip colors in a pullet lipstick form, plus it's not completely matte lipstick. The fading is more noticeable with this color, when I have had a drink or something to eat.

Ingredients: Mica, Pentaerythrityl, Tetraisostearate, Polyethylene, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Octyldodecanol, Isocetyl Stearate, Silica, Vp / Eicosene Copolymer, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Caprylyl Glycol, Oryzanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopheryl, Glycate, Glycer, Glycer, Glycol, Glycol, Lecite Oxide, Citric Acid [+/- May Contain / Peut Contenir: Red 7 Lake (Ci 15850), Yellow 5 Lake (Ci 19140), Blue 1 Lake (Ci 42090), Red 22 Lake (Ci 45380), Red 28 Lake ( Ci 45410), Red 28 Lake (Ci 75470), Iron Oxides (Ci 77491, Ci 77492), Carmine (Ci 75470), Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891)].

The overall staying power of the lipsticks is good, considering these are not completely matte. The longevity depends how often I drink or eat, specially with the red shade.

There is no noticeable scent to these lipsticks or taste. These didn't bleed or moved around on me. I didn't have any issues with these, except I needed to touch up the darker shade between meals.

I'm very happy with these lip colors, specially Cosmic. Its so beautiful everyday shade and lately I have been more into pinky nudes. Cosmic is so worth checking out :)

Have you tried their lipsticks before?
