Review: BYS Cosmetics Sweet Cheeks Face Palette

Hi loves! I have had crazy week and I haven't had time to edit the video I promised with the Morphe palette and I haven't got any new posts up. Finally I have time to sit down and talk about makeup again. Today I have for you BYS Cosmetics Sweet Cheeks Face Palette (12x1.8g) and it was sent to me as PR. My thoughts are my own and some of you know already I like the brand and I have bought their products with my own money as well.

This palette comes in a clear plastic case and contains 12 powders. I would say there is 6 matte blushes and 6 highlighters/blush toppers. I like it has a clear lid and I can see all the shade is it. There is something for everyone. It keeps me covered all year :)

The color pay off is good and it can be build up for a stronger blush look, if thats what you want. The highlighters are strong and I do like how wearable most of the shades are. Both are easy to work with and blend into the skin easily.

Above and below you can see all the colors swatched and from the first row I love the highlighting shade. Its one of my favorites and from the first row I like the second blush from the right. Its so beautiful everyday shade.

The highlighter on the second row is bit too frosty for me, but the blushes are perfect for this time of the year, to create the perfect natural flush look.

On the third row you can find a golden highlighter, blush and 2 beautiful blush toppers. The blush is the second swatch on the left. Its gorgeous summer shade!

These lasted well on me through out the day. I didn't need to reapply any of the shades and these didn't get blotchy, which is huge plus. I have noticed with some more affordable brand the  blushes tend to move around, if I touch my face, but this wasn't the case with these powders, plus they feel so smooth to the touch.

As you can see I'm super happy with this palette. Its only 9.40€ and there isn't a bad shade in it. I just didn't like one highlighter, because of the tone. I see myself using it a lot. If you are interested you can fin this blush palette here.

Whats your favorite blush palette?

Review: Morphe Brushes Boss Mood Artistry Palette 35M

Hi loves! I have finally tried the famous brand Morphe Brushes and my first palette is their Boss Mood Artistry Palette 35M (56.2g, €26.00).

This is my first palette from them. The packaging of the palette is black sleek case with the brand name in the middle. Inside there is a sheet with the shade names, which I personally don't like. I will lose it at one point and how will I know what shades I'm using. The palette itself hosts 35 eyeshadows: 18 matte eyeshadows and 17 shimmery/metallic eyeshadows.

The quality of the shadows overall is good. I had issue with only one eyeshadow I couldn't make it work for me. Some of the mattes don't swatch well at all and you'll see it for yourself down below, but they work well on the lid. The mattes I did need to build up. I have tested every single matte in this palette and only one was horrible. The metallic shades are gorgeous and there is so many different shades to choose from. Also so pigmented! I love the color selection and I have loved every single look I did with this palette.

The staying power is also good. I always use eyeshadow primer under every look and with a primer it didn't crease and the bright colors looked all day vibrant.

Down below you can see the swatches of all the eyeshadows and I mention again some mattes look horrible when swatched, but when I blended them on the lid it was fine. I did need to build up the color, which I don't mind, because the end result was beautiful.

  • Light of the Party - is frosted cream shimmer shade
  • Popstar - is metallic glided gold
  • Stroke of Luck - is a matte wasabi green
  • Express Yo'Self - is a matte moss
  • Nude Tude - is a matte olive. It was the shade that didn't blend out well. The more I blended the more uneven it became.
  • Green with Envy - is a matte midnight green
  • Sheen Stealer - is a metallic burnt olive
  • Stand Out - is a metallic bronzed green
  • Bold Moves - is a metallic golden pear
  • Electric Energy - is a metallic golden sage
  • Hello Sunshine - is a matte mustard green
  • Play it Cool - is a matte caramel
  • Haft Stuff - is a metallic copper
  • Peachy Keen - is a matte toffee
  • Fired up  - is a matte apricot

  • Bright Eyes - is a metallic amber and one of my favorite shadows in this palette. Its gorgeous.
  • Bossy AF - is a metallic garnet
  • FOTD - is a matte red current
  • Talk Dirty - is a matte chocolate truffle
  • Hot to Trot - is a metallic brown bronze
  • Sparks Fly - is a matte walnut
  • Confidence - is a metallic deep coral
  • Red Carpet - is a matte raspberry and one of the shades that on a swatch doesn't look good, but used with a brush is buildable and applies evenly.
  • Power Slayer - is a matte dusty plum. Its another shade that didn't swatch well.
  • Daredevil - is a metallic violet
  • Vampy Vixen - is a matte brick red
  • Sweet Beets - is a matte cranberry
  • Color Persona - is a metallic cranberry
  • Transformer - is a matte navy blue
  • Center of Attention - is a metallic midnight blue
  • Indi-Glow Kween - is a metallic plum
  • Grape Expectations - is a metallic electric purple
  • Sultry Ways - is a metallic smoky eggplant
  • Black Magic - is a matte black

Its not like ABH palettes, but it is special. I don't mind spending more time on blending or building the color up. The quality is not through out the palette the same, but I can make almost all the shades work for me and most of all I'm not bored with this palette.

If you are interested checking this palette out for yourself, you can find it here. I did a eye look with this palette. I'm not posting it because it was out focus and I'll film it again tomorrow and hopefully everything is in order then and I'm able to post it.

Here is the promised video with this gorgeous palette! I hope you enjoy it and sorry again for being late with this video.

Review: Nabla Pulp Kit

Hi loves! I'm happy to share with you guys Nabla Pulp Kit, which contains 3 Dreamy Matte Liquid Lipsticks in shades: Blair, Hanging Rock and  Rouge Assassin.

This kit contains a shade for any occasion. Their liquid lipsticks are so pigmented and the formula is vegan. These come in clear tubes and I love I can see the beautiful shades. These come with classic doe foot applicator.

These liquid lipstick contains shea butter, which help to keep the lips hydrated. And these have sweet coconut vanilla scent to them, which I love.

  • Blair - is a matte peachy nude. Its the perfect everyday shade.
  • Hanging Rock - is a matte rusty shade, which is perfect shade for autumn. On the swatch it doesn't seem even, but on lips it does apply evenly.
  • Rouge Assassin - is a matte blood red shade. I can see myself wearing it all year long. Again it applies on lips evenly.

These are long wearing, but they do fade in the middle when having food, but its easy to touch up. It does dry my lips a bit out, but not as much as Colourpop ones.

Down below you can see the video of lip swatches. Hope you enjoy it :)

I'm so happy to have these new shades in my collection. These are stunning and I love these are so wearable. If you are interested you can find the kit here.

Review: Tom Ford Bronzing Powder | 02 Terra

Hi loves! Today's review is on Tom Ford Bronzing Powder and I have shade 02 Terra (8.7g).

It comes in sleek white packaging, which has golden edge and it closes magnetically. It looks absolutely beautiful and luxurious! Inside there is a mirror and the bronzing powder. It has matte finish and it feels silky smooth to the touch.

This bronzer is formulated with mineral blend of sun stone, amber and black tourmaline crystals and combined with pigments. This is the perfect powder to give me that bronzed beauty look.

It blends out on skin beautifully and I can build it up, if I want to. I'm so impressed how beautiful it looks on skin and it mimics the look of natural tan. It stays on me all day till I take my makeup off.

I picked it up when I was in Estonia from Kaubamaja. Its a local department store.  They started to bring the brand to Estonia, which I'm very excited about. So I ended up picking some items when I was there and you know the experience buying and how they pack your purchase is part of the experience buying Tom Ford. And they packed my Tom Ford goodies into their regular plastic bag. Really, plastic bag! I wonder if I should have said something about it. I just stared it, took it and went home. I don't think I'll be buying Tom Ford from Kaubamaja anymore.

I love the bronzer and how beautiful it makes my skin look. Its pricey number, but I'm happy I ended up getting it. Its only for special occasions :)

Have you tried Tom Ford before?

Review: Milani Amore Malle Lip Crémes

Hi loves! Today I have for you 2 gorgeous lip shades from Milani. Its their Amore Malle Lip Crémes in shade 22 Amore and 25 Allure (6g, 9.90€). They have so many fun shades in their collection.

These come in clear tube and has golden cap and the brand logos is also in gold on the tube. Its drugstore brand, but they have made it look little bit more expencieve. These have flat double sided applicator, which hugs the lip lines and makes applying the product easy.

These have sweet candy like scent, which I don't like personally. For me its little bit too sweet. Thank God the scent is not too strong and when I apply it on lips I barely smell it.

These dry down fast and they are drying, because its a liquid lipstick. Its not as drying as the colourpop liquid lips are. I do find myself wearing these a lot, specially the shade Allure.

22 Amore - is gorgeous bright red. It brightens up every look and it did apply even on lips.

25 Allure - seems darker on the pictures, but in person its more peachy nude. I love to wear it with any look. Its a beautiful everyday color and I reach for it more then the brighter shade.

It claims to last on lips 16 hours, but on me it did fade off in the middle of the lip, when I had food and drinks. So I did to do little touch ups.

I'm so happy with the 2 shades I have and I picked mine up from Beauty Pro (link). There is so many shades to choose from and I think I'll add few more into my collection. I just love how easy it is to apply and it doesn't move around or get on my lips. If you are based in USA you can find their liquid lipsticks here.

Which is your favorite shade?

Review: Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation | LC1

Hi loves! I have found a new favorite foundation! Its Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation and I have the shade LC1 (30ml).

It comes in a glass bottle and has a huge doe foot applicator to apply the product. The packaging feels luxurious and not something I would pick up from the drugstore.

This foundation has SPF20 and claims to fit all skin types. It also is brightening foundation. I do have oily skin, but now that the weather is cooler my skin is more normal. It looks beautiful on my skin and the shade LC1 is a good match for me. Its slightly darker, but it blends into the skin easily and becomes one with it. I bought mine in Estonia from Ideaal Kosmeetika (link) and the shade range there was small, but on Amazon you can find 12 shades (link).

I like how long it last on me. I need to powder my nose only once through out the day. The coverage stays on all day though, which I like. I also like it doesn't set into my pores, which I have notice some other highend foundations tend to do. Another plus is, that its light weight and my skin can bright.

Ingredients: Octinoxate 3% Inactive Ingredients: Water/Eau, Cyclopentasiloxane, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Isododecane, Butylene Glycol, Acrylates/Polytrimethylsiloxymethacrylate Copolymer, Propanediol, Cyclohexasiloxane, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Magnesium Sulfate, Schinziophyton Rautanenii (Mongongo) Kernel Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylene Brassylate, Dimethicone/Bis-Isobutyl PPG-20 Crosspolymer, Silica, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Evodia Rutaecarpa (Wu-Zhu-Yu) Fruit Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Cellulose Gum, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aluminum Hydroxide, Retinyl Palmitate, Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, BHT, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Tocopherol, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).

As I hinted in the beginning I love this foundation. It looks natural on skin and sometimes I forget I even wear foundation. Its that comfortable, but does give me high coverage. The Chinese Wu-Zhu-Yu Extract and Hyaluronic Acid infused formula helps to brighten, hydrate and even out the skin tone. Its also packed with vitamins and antioxidants. It hasn't broke me out or irritated my skin and there is no noticeable scent to it.

Down below you can see the demo part of this review. I hope you find the video useful :)

Review: Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette

Hi loves! Today's review is on Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette and I have been playing with it on and off for weeks now. I'm ready to share my honest thoughts with you ;)

The palette looks gorgeous! I find UD always pays attention to the packaging and it never disappoints. Inside there is dual ended eyeshadow brush, mirror and 12 eyeshadows: 5 shimmer shades and 7 matte shades.

The eyeshadows are pigmented, but I find them to be bit powdery. I didn't have any issues creating and eye look, but it was always similar. I also find the shimmers are boring and the overall palette is dark. I would have wanted more reflective shades. I find the shadows are not unique enough. And these should be all be new shades. In any means do I say its bad palette, its just not for me...There is something a miss for me to love it.

Down below you can see all the shadows swatched and my oppinion on them ;)

  • Hot Spot - is a matte ivory. Its great to use as brow bone highlighter and I also used it as my lid color. Told you I wanted more lighter shades and this is the lightest in the palette.
  • Caution - is a matte soft nude beige. Its the perfect transition shade.
  • Bang Bang - is a pinky gold metallic shade with rainbow micro glitter in it. Its so beautiful summer shade, but I feel like I have something like this in my collection. I need to check and I'll share it on Instagram, if I find anything similar.
  • Feelz - is a soft old pink with matte finish.
  • Juicy - is a soft warm peachy shade with matte finish.
  • Turn on - is metallic nude with pink sheen to it.
  • Ambitious - is metallic pink copper shade.
  • Bing - is a matte deep purple.
  • Devilish - is a matte reddish plum shade.
  • Young Love - is a metallic cranberry shade.
  • Drunk Dial - is a metallic deep bordeaux red.
  • Privacy - is a deep brownish plum matte shade.

I didn't have any issues working with these (only that they are bit powdery) and they did blend out beautifully. These did last well on me with out creasing, but when I wore it more then 10 hours, it did crease on me. It only happened once. I usually don't wear my makeup on that long.

Down below you can find the demo part of this review. I created a look using this palette and I did like how it came out. Hope you enjoy it :)

Overall its okay palette and I keep using it, but it didn't blow my mind. I was more excited about their Smoky palette. Its my second Naked palette and I'm not that impressed by it.

Have you tried the UD Naked Cherry Palette already?
