Review: IsaDora Eye Color Wonder Bar | 01 Wonder Nudes

Hi loves! Today I have something for beauties who love nude shadows. IsaDora Eye Color Wonder Bar in 01 Wonder Nudes (£27.95) is a perfect everyday palette. Its also available in a more smoky version.

It contains 12 eyeshadows: 4 mattes and 8 shimmery shades. All these shadows are hosted in a black sleek palette, which closes securely and is perfect to take with me when traveling. The palette also contains a mirror, which is not too big, but still workable and double ended brush, which I haven't used. I like to use my own eyeshadow brushes.

The formula of the shadows is fragrance free and feel silky to the touch. These blend out effortlessly, which is one of the things I like most about it. The shadows are pigmented, but I have blended these shadows in to one color, so be careful, if you have this palette or plan to pick it up. Not to get the one color experience again, I like to apply my base colors first and then go in with a show stopper (a shimmer) and place it where I want and very careful blended out. NYX Glitter primer also helped a lot. My first thoughts where not very kind, but I have grown to like it and love what it offers me.

The first four shades (on the left) are the more lighter shades and they didn't show up on swatch as well, but they are pigmented. The other 4 shades on the right are beautiful and the last shade swatched is what I wore on todays look, which you can see down below. Its stunning!

The black swatched on the left is so pigmented and it blended so well and swatches beautifully. Its one of my favorite blacks.

The staying power is great! I always prim my lids, so I didn't experience any creasing or fading through out the day.

Down below you can see a look I did with this palette. You can see how blended the look is (in a good way).

I think its a great palette to have, if you don't have any nudes. This contains everything I need for a look. I love it contains basic mattes and tons of beautiful shimmer shadows.

Have you tried any Isadora Eyeshadows?

Review: Essence Metal Shock Lip Paint

Hi loves! Today's post is all about metallic sparkly lips :) I have 2 shades from Essence Metal Shock Lip Paint range and they are 03 Lilly of the Vally and 04 Mercury (5ml, 3.39 EUR).

These are richly pigmented metallic glosses, which come in a clear tube and have flat doe foot applicator. I like to use these as lip toppers to add bit of extra sparkle to my looks. Everyone loved yesterdays look where I wore the pink one on top of BYS Cosmetics liquid lip. Here is the look, if you wanna check it out.

The formula of it feel light on lips and it has a sweet candy scent to it, which I surprisingly like. These give beautiful sheen to the lip and it dries down matte, but the glitter in it makes the lips seem bigger and also more beautiful. The shade 04 Mercury does it specially well, you can see me wearing it here

These last well on top liquid lip and the staying power does depend what you wear under it. With a long lasting liquid lip it can stay on all day, even if you have had food (more oily food makes it come off though).

I like to use these only on top of another lip product and prefer a liquid lipstick. I apply bit middle of the lip and blend it out with a finger tip. It blends into the lips easily and seamlessly.

03 Lilly of the Vally - is gorgeous hot pink with tons of glitter in it, which I didn't feel on my lips.

04 Mercury - is pale metallic champagne shade, which could be also gorgeous highlighter. So far it has been highlighter for my lips. There seems no glitter to be in it.

I didn't like these at first, but now I'm over the moon. I like the 2 shades I picked up and the other 3 shades are not as wearable in my oppinion. But these are available in drugstores like Kruidvat (if you are in Belgium or Netherlands).

Which is your favorite shade?

Review: Maybelline Vivid Hot Lacquer

Hi loves! I have been trying out Maybelline Vivid Hot Lacquer in shade 66 Too Cute and 72 Classic. All together there is 8 shades available.

Their liquid lipsticks come in clear tubes and these have a bit different applicator then the traditional doe foot applicator, which I like. It applies just the right amount of product to the lips and it makes applying the color easier.

These are pigmented, which you can see for yourself down below. These do have a slight scent to them, but I can't place it. Its not too strong and doesn't bother me.

I don't like to wear these on their own. Its hard to apply and the darker shade just wants to go everywhere. I have been using lipliner under these and the lighter shade has been my favorite. It looks beautiful on lips and make them look bigger and fuller. Now the deep red shade didn't wanna stay put like that either. It went all over my teeth and I couldn't make it work for me.

Overall I think these are lovely, specially the lighter shade. I wouldn't buy any of the more darker shade. I would maybe add another nude shade into my collection.

You can find all 8 shades here and I think only one was bit over ten euros, others are below.

Have you tried any of their Vivid Hot Lacquers?

Review: Shiseido Automatic Fine Eyeliner | Black

Hi loves! I have been testing out a new liquid liner, because I want something bit more affordable then my Tom Ford liner. So I went with Shiseido Automatic Fine Eyeliner in shade Black (£25.00). Its also available in shade brown.

This liner is sleek and has a brush applicator, which is what I like the best. I have to push the button back of the liner to get the product out. This is something new to me and it took me so long to get use to it.  The liner glides on easily when there is enough of product on the brush. I did need to go over it couple of times when the brush is not coated with enough product. You can see on the swatches what I mean.

This liner didn't irritate my eyes and I have sensitive eyes. I didn't bleed on me, which I really like. I had that issue with Tom Ford liner, one side of it was bleeding when applied.

On the left you can see the swatches and you can see, if the brush is not coated with the product its not as pigmented. You can see on my instagram how it looks on my eyes and its is there richly black (link). I didn't want to waste the product for swatches.

Overall I like this liner and I like it didn't bleed and stayed on all day with out smudging or flaking. The tip of the applicator lets me get to the inner corner and make a thin line or thick, which ever I want :) Also its easy to take off with cleansing oil and everything comes off.

If you wanna check it out for yourself you can find both shades here.

What liquid liner would you recommend me?

Review: Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette

Hi loves! Sorry for missing yesterday's post. I'm not a fan of prewriting my post and yesterday I had my 9th wedding anniversary :) I had amazing evening with hubby and I didn't find time to write a post. Sorry!

Anyway today I have review and a little demo with  Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette (44.90 EUR) and I picked it up in Sephora France (link).

The packaging is absolutely beautiful! I always adore their packaging! Inside there is 12 matte eyeshadows and all are peachy nudes. This palette is so me! Also there is a nice size mirror in it and the palette closes magnetically.

These are all pigmented, which you can see for yourself down below. These blended out beautifully and lasted all day with out creasing (I always use a primer). I did get bit fall out when I didn't tap off the brush, but when I did it there was no issues with fall out.

This is perfect for anyone who loves warm tone shadows and mattes. I'm known to wear only matte looks and I have been loving it. Sometimes I do like to add in the inner corner of the eye something with shimmer or just glitter.

  • Peach Meringue - is creamy white, which is perfect brow bone highlighter.
  • Peach Tea - is warm tone brown. Love to use it in the crease.
  • Peach Cobbler - is deeper burned orange and such a gorgeous shadow for autumn.
  • Peach Tart - is dark warm tone brown. Perfect to darken up any look and bring some drama to it.
  • Peach Butter - is white with hint of light pink to it. (Sorry for the typo on the picture above).
  • Just Peachy -  is stunning light peachy shade. I like to use it in the crease.
  • Peachy Punch - is one of the brighter shades in the palette. Its brighter peach shade.
  • Just Ripe - is deeper plum shade. I love to use it in the outer V.
  • Peaches and Cream - is a light peachy shade. I like to warm up the crease with it.
  • Fresh-Picked - is peachy brown and also great shade to use in the crease.
  • Peach Sangria - is deeper plumy red and I have plans to do smoky eye with it. It looks so beautiful and inviting.
  • Chocolate Dipped - is dark brown and it has more colder tones to it.

I think this is fantastic palette and something I see myself using over and over again. It also smells so good, like peaches I just enjoy the feel of Too Faced matte eye shadows and I adore warm tone shadows, even though hubby likes more cool tones on me, like blues and greens :)

Down below you can find spring inspired eye look. I went with something simple and light. Hope you guys enjoy it :)

Which is your favorite Too Faced eyeshadow palette?
