Review: Sugar Cosmetics Ace of Face Foundation Stick | 01 Latte

Hi loves! Today's post is a review on Sugar Cosmetics Ace of Face Foundation Stick and I have the lightest shade, which is 01 Latte (12g, $21.99). Its available in 6 shades.  Before we get more into this post I do wanna let you know this was sent to me as PR.

The packaging of it is very highend and I love their logo. On one side there is the foundation and on the other side there is a brush to blend the product in. I did tried it, but I do prefer my own brushes.

This is full coverage foundation, which makes my skin look flawless and it doesn't feel too heavy either. It blends out so easily and you don't need a lot of product. It does claim to give matte skin up to 12 hours. The foundation for me lasts all day, but I do get oily in the T-zone. I don't mind it too much, because the foundation doesn't brake down or look caky. It actually looks really nice on my skin all day.

The shade 01 Latte is described as light shade with warm undertones. Now I too have warm undertones to my pale skin tone. The shade is too dark for me unfortunately, but I still tried it and I do like the formula.  It brakes my heart that the lightest shade is too dark for me.

You might wonder how I have been wearing this foundation, because its way too dark for me. I have bronzed my skin and the neck to match it and that way I have been able to enjoy this foundation. You can see me wearing it on my Instagram (link).

All the other cream products that I have used with this foundation, blend on top of it beautifully. I really like the look and coverage it gives me.

Its dermatologist tested and approved. It hasn't broke me up or caused any irritation. There is no scent to it and you can find the full ingredients list down below.

IngredientsTitanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Phenyl Trimethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Ethylhexanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Iron Oxide Yellow (CI 77492), Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Ceresin, Polyethylene, Pentylene Glycol, Vp/Hexadecene Copolymer, Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate, Iron Oxide Red (CI 77491), Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Ozokerite, Mica (CI 77019), Talc, Silica, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Aluminum Hydroxide, Lauryl Peg/Ppg-18/18 Methicone, Microcrystalline Wax, Phenoxyethanol, Iron Oxide Black (CI 77499), Caprylyl Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Macadamia Seed Oil Polyglyceryl-6 Esters Behenate, Lauryl Laurate, Propanediol, Dimethicone, Isostearyl Alcohol, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract, Methicone, BHT.

My only wish is that they would add lighter shades to their Ace of Face Foundation Stick range, because its beautiful foundation. If you are darker then me you might find a shade for yourself. I'll leave the link to their webpage here.

Review: John Frieda Frizz Ease

Hi loves! I have naturally dry hair and it doesn't help I color treat it, so it does  get frizzy. I have been using  John Frieda Frizz Ease (50ml) to tame the frizz. It gives 6 effects: eliminates frizz, humidity protection, smoothes, hydrates and tames. Its also formulated with silk protein.

The serum comes in a clear plastic bottle, but where the product is in, that is purple, so there is 2 layers to this bottle  and has a pump.

The serum it self is clear and has a sweet scent to it. The formula of it is silky to the touch. This is meant to use in wet hair. I like to apply before hair oil and I let it sink into my hair, because I have very dry hair. After that I go in with the serum. I apply usually 2 pumps, because I have long hair and avoid getting it close to the roots. It sinks into my hair fast. Then I let my hair air dry. And my hair is way easier to manage and its not a frizzy. Its a great fix for special occasion.

Ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane Dimethiconol Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate Paraffinum Liquidum Hydrolyzed Silk Algae Extract Parfum Linalool Butylphenyl Methylpropional Limonene

This product does contain silicons, which helps to smooth the hair out and thats why I don't use it too often and I always make sure to wash my hair with deep cleansing shampoo, when ever I have used too many silicons in my hair. So there is no build up in it.

I personally like this product and it gives me great results when I use it. And sometimes I just need it!

How do you fight agains frizzy hair?

Review: BYS Cosmetics Berries Collection

Hi loves! Today's post is on BYS Cosmetics Berries Collection. It contains 8 items and everything smells like berries. First lets look their Berries Face Palette (22g, 7.96 euros).

Their face palette contains 4 highlighting powders, 3 lip colors, 4 glitters and 16 eyeshadows.

The highlighters are beautiful and there is first and fourth shade, which are more wearable (good for everyday). The middle shades are more appropriate for special occasion at least for me.

These blend beautifully into the skin and give me glow that lasts all day. Down below you can see the swatches of the highlighters.

The palette contains 3 lip colors: light pink, berry shade and a violet. I haven't used these as much, because I like more liquid lipsticks. When I did wear the middle shade it didn't last too long on me, but it did give my lips beautiful tint that lasted all day.

I find the eyeshadows are preforming better on the eyes then they swatch, specially the mattes. There is only 2 matte shades, rest of the shadows are shimmery. You can see down below the swatches and most of these shadows look gorgeous. These last with eyeshadow primer all day without creasing or fading. I really love that about their shadows.

The last items in the palette are their glitters. There is 4 shades and I like to use them sometimes on top of my shadows. But it does make them crease a little, but before that happens, these look beautiful. I think these are fab for festival makeup.

Overall I like the palette. I personally don't like creams and powders in the same palette. I wish they have put cover over the creams, because I already got powder in them. Also I can't complain, because of the price point. The quality is great for considering how affordable it is.

Next in the collection is Very Berry Blueberry Eyeshadow (8g, $4.97). It contains 8 eyeshadow: 2 mattes and 6 shimmery shadow. I like this palette is berry and also there is some bronzy shades, which are so autumn. You'll see in the swatches, which are down below.

I love the quality of the shadows in this palette more then the previous one. The shadows are hosted in a sleek black palette with clear lid. Its perfect for travel.

The eyeshadows are beautiful, pigmented and long lasting. These blend out beautifully and work well together with other powder eye shadows. And I like this little gem contains so much and I can create many different looks with it.

This is one of my favorite pieces from this collection. Its so good palette and so budget friendly item.

Nest we have Very Berry Blush Trio in shade Raspberry Red (8g, $4.95). It contains 2 matte blushes and beautiful highlighter with pink  undertones. Its all hosted in a sleek black packaging with a clear lid, so I can see the shades.

The highlighter is super gorgeous! And the blushes are beautiful! These blend into the skin easily and the color lasts on my cheeks all day with out fading or getting patchy. Also the highlighter gives me the most beautiful glow that lasts all day! Its my other favorite in this collection. Its a must have item!

Next item in the collection is Berries Eyeshadow palette (20x1g, $8.55). Its not as sleek packaging as the 8 eye shadow palette, but it has a clear lid and I can see all the 20 eyeshadows in it. It contains 9 mattes and 11 shimmer shades.

The formula of the shadows is  buttery to the touch and these blend beautifully! With  eyeshadow primer these last on me all day with out fading or creasing. I specially love the formula of the mattes in this palette. Its so awesome palette for the price point and every row contains different hues, so I can create so many different looks with it. I'm so in love with this palette and I love the last row has only nudes. This palette contains something for everyone. You can see swatches down below!

Next we have Glitter Eye Creme Very Berry Mixed Berries Palette (6g, $4.97). It comes in a black sleek packaging and has a clear lid. It contains cream glitter shadows, which I do sometimes use on top of other eyeshadows.

It does make my powder eyeshadows crease, but for instagram pictures its worth it. I can see myself using it on special occasion, like for festival makeup. This palette contains mostly purple and pinks shades with one golden glitter shade. These do give a pretty sparkle to any eye look.

Down below you can see the swatches of all 8 cream glitter shadows. My favorite is the light baby pink. Its so pretty shade!

Next item in this collection Pure Silk Illuminating Drops Very Berry Glow ($9.26, 23ml). Hands down this is the most beautiful thing ever. This is liquid highlighter, which is violet. It looks in the bottle bit scary, but it blends out beautifully.

The highlighter comes in a glass bottle and the outside of the bottle is the same shade as the highlighter itself. It has a dropper. It smells as good as the rest of the collection. The formula of the highlighter is not runny, but it blends out effortlessly. It gives the cheek bones beautiful glow and it contains micro glitter and reflective pigments.

I apply it end of the makeup (on top of powder) and I apply it with my finger tips and blend it out. It looks absolutely beautiful on skin and and it stays put all day.

The last items in this collection are Mega Shine Lip glosses in shade Blackberry and Wild Berry (14g, $2.82). These come in a clear tube and there is plastic applicator, which I'm not a fan. I use a lip brush to apply these and I like to apply these glosses on top of lip liner.

The lip glosses are pigmented and feel light weight on lips. The staying power is not too long, but its normal to the gloss. The shade Blackberry does tint the lips a little.

  • Blackberry - is fuchsia shade and it does tint the lips.
  • Wild Berry - is bright barbie pink and yes it looks too bright, but on top of a nude lip liner it looks beautiful and is more wearable tone.

This collection is beautiful and affordable. I have found gems here, which I see myself using over and over again. The quality of the blushes is brilliant and the Berries eyeshadow palette blends like a dream and it has so many choices. If you are based in Estonia you can find their products on Kaubamaja (link), rest of the world can find it here.

Down below you can see a video, where I have used this collection and created 2 different makeup looks. I do home you guys enjoy the video :)

Review: theBalm Time Balm Face Primer

Hi loves! Today's post is on theBalm Time Balm Face Primer (30ml) and I got it on recommendation of Marina from Marina Writes Life (link). This sounded so good and I needed to have it. To find out how I like it, keep reading ;)

This primer can be worn on its own or under a makeup. Its packed with vitamins A, C and E. It helps to even out skin tone and minimizes the looks of pores and fine lines.

I have oily skin and I need a primer that helps to keep my makeup in place. This definetly smooths out my skin and my pores looked so much better. It has the blurring effect. I find my foundation goes on easily and it helps to keep it in place all day. But I still get oily through out the day.

IngredientsCYCLOPENTASILOXANE, DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, HDI/TRIMETHYLOL HEXYLLACTONE CROSSPOLYMER, SILICA, C12-15 ALKYL BENZOATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, PPG-26-BUTETH-26, HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL, POLYSORBATE 80, HEDERA HELIX (IVY) LEAF/STEM EXTRACT, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, RETINYL PALMITATE, ASCORBYL PALMITATE, BIOFLAVONOIDS, ALLANTOIN, TIN OXIDE, MICA, TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491).

It does contain silicons to give the skin the smooth and blurred effect. It hasn't clogged or irritated my skin. It feels light on skin and blends into it easily. Down below you can see the before and after picture.

I'm so happy I ended up getting this primer and I picked it up when I was in Estonia (from Kaubamaja). It has lived up for my expectations and I can't get enough of it.

Have you tried this primer? Which is your favorite primer?
