Review: Colourpop Brow Pot | Bangin' Brunette

Hi loves! Lately I have been using Colourpop Brow Pot in shade Bangin' Brunette (3g, $6) to do my brows. It comes in a little glass jar and there is all together 8 shades available (link).

I apply it with angled synthetic brush and I like it to be more to smaller size (the brush). That way I can easily fill my brows in and be more precise. I do use more time, when using this product, because I need to blend it all out and make sure I apply it evenly. The formula is cream, so its easy to blend it out. It took forever for me in the beginning, but now I'm use to it and can get my brow done faster.

The staying power of it is amazing! My brows don't smudged when wearing it and they look perfect till end of the day when I take of my makeup.

Down below you can see the before and after picture. I find this shade fits me well. Its not too dark and goes with my complexion and hair colour :)

I have wanted to try this type product for the longest time and I'm so happy I ended up getting it and not a high end one. It works well and stays put all day and doesn't brake the bank :) If you have dark hair like me and you are interested in this shade, I'll link it here.

Which is your must have brow product?

Beauty Haul: Hair & Body 2017 #1

Hi loves! Today I have for you collective haul on hair and body care products. Lets just jump into the post and see what I have picked up :)

I picked up from TK Maxx Argania Liquid Gold Hair Oil Light (100ml, 8.99 EUR). Its made in New Zealand and promises to help with frizz, gives shine and provides heat protection to the hair when styled. Its made with organic argan oil. This oil sounds amazing and I'm always into trying out new hair oils and I'm half done with my L'Oreal hair oil (review).

The next item is from L'Oreal, which is their Elseve Argile Extraordinary Clay Dry Shampoo (150ml). I have yet to try it, but I usually like their hair products, so lets see how this works out for me :)

Continuing with body product I picked up with my mom Premier Dead Sea Aromatic Salt Scrub (425g). My mom loves it and she always know whats good, so I already know I'll like it.

Next is a body care item and its London Butterflies Body Butter Soufflé (170ml,5.99) and I picked it up in TK Maxx. It smells so good! I can't wait to try it out, I love body butters :)

Next two items are from Soap & Glory and I also picked these up from TK Maxx. It was a gift set, which included their Clean on Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel (500ml) and The Righteous Butter (300ml). I have had few of their little travel size body butters and they always smell so good, so I'm so happy I found this duo. I already know I'll like the body butter and I hope the shower gel is going to be as good as their body butters.

I have more body lotions/butters and next is The Scottish Fine Soap Company Pink Grapefruit & Argan Oil Body Butter (200ml, 3.99 EUR). Two of my favorite things together. I feel I can never have too many body butters and like this one is paraben free.

The next item is not like a body butter, but it is to hydrate the skin and I'm talking about Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet (200ml). This smells so good and is refreshing! I have tried other scents from the range and its the best thing when the weather is warm. I'm already set for summer, even though its winter here :D

Next item is from brand called Allure and its their Krista Pad to remove hair. I picked it up in one of the beauty events. It removes the hair by rubbing your leg with a pad. I'll make a post on it when I have fully tested it.

When I bought it I got a free body butter from Natur Argan and its their Argan Oil Cream (200ml) and its made in Spain. Like I said before there is never too many body butters and its something I always use.

The last item I picked up is Gillette Satin Care with Aloe Vera Shaving Gel (200ml). Its what I always use for shaving. It helps to keep my skin soft and smooth :)

This is it for today's post! I hope you guys liked it and if you wanna see review on any of the products let me know :)

Review: Jo Malone Vitamin E Hand Treatment

Hi loves! Today's post is on Jo Malone Vitamin E Hand Treatment (100ml, 52 EUR), which I got as a Christmas present from my mom. Before we go into the post, I'm sorry I missed blogging for 2 days. Yesterday was a hard day for me, it has been 2 years since my dad passed away and its hard for me to do anything except mope around. I feel today better and I'm trying to blog regularly now and it also helps me to get my mind away from 15th.

Now lets get back to this wonderful hand treatment and its comes in a black squeeze tube. Its easy to get out the product and the style of the packaging is really simple and stylish. The hand treatment itself has a herbal scent to it.It doesn't bother me and I would even say I like it. Its not over powering at all.

The formula of it is not too thick, its just has the right density. I love it sinks into the skin instantly. I don't think I own any cream that gets absorbed so fast. It instantly hydrates the skin and leaves it smoother and softer. I have been using it every evening and there is a difference when using it.

I feel with other hand creams, which are more affordable, I don't get the same results. When I wake up in the morning my hands are still moisturized with the Jo Malone hand treatment. I have noticed with affordable hand creams I do need to apply more product and my hands never feel as soft. The chance I'm going to buy it myself are high. Its just so amazing product.

If you are interested in this hand treatment I'll link it hereNext I wanna try one of their fragrances or body butters :)

Which is your favorite Jo Malone product?

Review: L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil

Hi loves! This week is all about body and hair care products, and the first review is on L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil (100ml, 10.15 EUR). I picked it up in Kruidvat and this is for dyed hair (even though I don't dye my hair).

The oil comes in a glass bottle and has a pump. I have natural dry hair and I like to use a lot of hair oil. The formula of it is almost like water and it feels light weight in the hair. It sinks into my hair fast and doesn't make my hair greasy or feel heavy in the hair. It also promises to protect hair color, but I can't comment on it, because I don't dye my hair.

I use it daily in the mornings and also when my hair is wet. I like to take sections of my hair and then apply the oil to every section. That way all my hair get the nourishment from the oil and is protected against the heat from blowdryer. I also apply more oily after I have blow dried my hair to hydrated the hair and also to add shine. It also helps to tame the frizz.

I'm so happy I picked this oil up from L'Oreal. It has been wonderful to use and definetly something I'll be buying again. I also like its easy to buy it, as its available in local drugstore.

Have you tried any of L'Oreal hair oils?

Favorites: January 2017

Hi loves! Today I have for you my January faves and I have this time only makeup items to share with you. The first one is a palette from Urban Decay, which I just love. It takes me out from my comfort zone and I'm talking about their Full Spectrum palette (review), which is so colorful and fun. Its great for creating colorful eye looks or just to add pop of color to any of my eye looks. Also the quality is amazing ;)

Next item is a loose shadow from bareMinerals, which is called Eyecolor and its in shade Nude Beach. Their loose shadows are beautiful and I'm obsessed with this shadow. Its pigmented and reflects light so beautifully and its perfect to highlight the inner corner of the eye.

Lets continue with complexion products and next is a foundation from Sensai. Its their Fluid Finish Foundation (30ml, review) and I'm in shade Soft Ivory. Its hydrating foundation, which I can only wear when the weather is cold. I have oily skin and I'm surprised this foundation stays one me even when the weather is colder. But its beautiful on skin and it lasts on me so well. I haven't tried it on summer, so I don't know how it will work then, but I'll keep you posted, for now I'm obsessed :D

Next is a loose powder from Essence and I just used it up yesterday :( Its called Stay All Day Translucent Fixing Powder (review) and it has been my favorite powder to set my makeup. It feels so light on skin and gives me matte complexion and it doesn't cake up, also its affordable.

I also have been obsessing over Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Aquacealer Concealer in Fair (10ml, review). Its lightweight concealer and doesn't crease under my eye area. It makes everything look flawless and its easy to blend into the skin.

Last favorite from January is Mally Face Defender Blush in Pink Perfection. Its beautiful classic pink shade and I love it. It lasts on me all day with out fading and I don't need to touch it up in the evening, if i would go out with friends.

This is it for my January favorites :) I do hope you guys liked it and let me know what you loved in January in the comment section.

Review: LookX Cosmetics Lipstick | 96 Cold Red Matte

Hi loves! Today I have for you beautiful matte lipstick from LookX Cosmetics and its in shade 96 Cold Red Matte (4ml, €15.95). There is altogether available 17 shades.

The lipstick comes in a matte silver packaging and the product itself has no scent to it. 85% ingredients are from natural source. Its long lasting and promises not to dry out the lips. The formula itself feels creamy and it does glide on easily.

The pigmentation is okay and the colour can be build up. I was surprised to see how long it wore on my lips (with out eating/drinking). It did come of after having food and it was bit faded after having tea/coffee. It did felt bit drying on lips, but not as much as with liquid lipsticks.

I'm impressed with the staying power (because how creamy the product is) and it didn't move around and stayed put. I definetly want to try out another shade from the collection. I got this one in a Style Tone box, but their products are available here.

Have you ever tried the brand before?

Review: Makeup Geek Eyeshadows

Hi loves! Today I share my thoughts on Makeup Geek shadows and I think I'm the last one to try these. I picked up shades Vanilla Bean, Shimma Shimma, Pillow Talk, Cinderella, Bake Sale, Chickadee, Mango Tango, Bitten, Anarchy and Chit Chat (1.8g, 7.20 EUR).

I like these are available in a pan. There is no plastic case around the shadows, so it makes it easy to pop these in a Z palette. I tried to pick different shades up and I have mattes and shimmery finishes.

The formula overall is amazing (there is one shadow, which is not as smooth) and these last on me all day with out creasing (I do use eyeshadow primer always). I have created a look using only these shadows and they blend  beautifully. Also these work well together with other powder shadows and on top of cream shadows. These have feel comfortable on the lid and haven't irritated my eyes. I have been testing these out for months now and there hasn't been any fall out.

  • Vanilla Bean - is light cream shade with matte finish. Its perfect to highlight the brow bone.
  • Shimma Shimma - is a classic shimmery shade and the most used shadow from the ones I picked up. Its perfect to highlight the inner corner of the eye.
  • Pillow Talk - is a shimmery light lilac shade, which looks gorgeous all over the lid. Stunning shadow!
  • Cinderella - is slightly shimmery shade. I use it on days when I don't wanna fuss too much. It looks beautiful all over the lid.

First row

Second row

  • Bake Sale - is a matte warm tone matte. Its perfect shade to warm up the crease.
  • Chickadee - is a matte darker yellow and I don't think I own another shade like this. I have use it in the crease with Baked Sale.
  • Mango Tango - is slightly shimmery coral shade. I like the shade itself, but the formula of it is not as smooth as the other shadows are.
  • Bitten - is gorgeous deep berry shade and has matte finish. Its another favorite. I have been using it non stop.

third row

  • Anarchy - is a beautiful metallic red coral shade. I have been using it on the outer half of the lid.
  • Chit Chat - is a metallic deeper lilac shade and it looks stunning all over the lid.

I'm so happy I finally picked up their shadows and now I just want more :D I knew this would happen, maybe thats why I waited that long. If you are interested in any of these, you can find it here.

Which shade should I try next?

Thank you for reading! xo's

Review: Freedom PRO HD Brow Palette

Hi loves! Today I have something for brows and its Freedom PRO HD Brow Palette in Medium Dark (13.99 EUR). Its also available in Fair Medium.

The palette comes in cardboard packaging and closes magnetically. It contains a nice size mirror, which is always good to have when traveling. The palette contains 6 duo eyebrow powders, 4 stencils, a highlighter, a arch enhancing wax and an eyebrow brush. I have tossed the brush (I like to use my own) and I haven't used the stencils either. Also I didn't care for the wax, which looks and feels more like a concealer. Its very greasy. I usually just set my brows with a brow gel and then wait when everything is dry. After that I go in with brow powder to fill them in.

The powders are nicely pigmented and are easy to use. I didn't have any problems with any of these powders. I liked to mix darker and a lighter shade to match my brows perfectly. There is so many shades available that anyone can use it and find something to match them. Down below you can see everything swatched.

Top row

Bottom row

I like to mix the powder from the bottom row, which is swatched second on the picture above with the powder from the top row and its the third swatch. These together give me the result I want and my brows are set for the day. These didn't smudge or rub off through out the day and its so easy to work with these.

We still need to talk about the highlighter, which you can see swatched down below with the wax (like I said above, I don't care for the wax). The highlighter is light pink and it looks like a beautiful shadow and is pigmented. I would't use it as a highlighter, but as an eyeshadow it looks gorgeous and the formula is smooth to the touch.

I'm happy with the palette and the brow powders. I don't use much else from it and the price point is good as well. I thinks its great when you want to experiment with different brow powders, if you are interested I'll link it here.

Do you like brow palettes?
