Review: Juvia's Place The Masquerade Mini Palette

Hi loves! Today I have for you gorgeous Juvia's Place The Masquerade Mini Palette.

This palette comes in a hot pink cardboard packaging with beautiful artwork on it. It contains 18 beautiful eyeshadows: 5 mattes, 2 mattes with glitter in it and 9 metallic shadows. It closes magnetically.

The quality of the palette is amazing for the price point. I got it in a bundle. The price of the mini is $25.00 and the large is $30.00. The shadows feel smooth and blend beautifully, specially the metallic ones, so intense. I love that this palette contains nudes and colorful shades.

As usual I used eyeshadow primer with this palette and it worked well. I didn't experience no fading or creasing. I do wanna mention I don't have oily lids. Also this palette doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes.

Now lets take a look of the swatches! I do feel the metallic shades swatch smoother then matte shades.

  • Chi - is metallic navy  blue.
  • Mali - is metallic sea foam green.
  • Dalia - is metallic royal blue, so pretty.
  • Zola - is metallic pale blue.
  • Makeda - is metallic deep purple.
  • Zobo - is matte plum. It looks in the pan deeper.
  • Calabar - is metallic reddish bronze shade.
  • Bori - is matte hot pink with golden glitter in it.
  • Giza - is metallic pale champagne.
  • Burkina - is a matte medium brown.
  • Cairo - is a matte peachy orange with golden glitter in it.
  • Ada - is a matte deep brown with hint of redness to it. I looks in the pan deeper then it really is.
  • Dahia - is metallic champagne shade.
  • Zulu - is a matte reddish brown.
  • Casablanca - is metallic deeper copper bronze shade.
  • Fulani - is a matte dark brown.

I do like this palette. I would wish some of the matte shades would be more true to color, but I can live with it. Its beautiful palette, which I can use day time looks and also I can use it to create something fun and colorful. I will be posting a look with it tomorrow, if you are interested come back :)

Here is the video I promised. Hope you enjoy the video!

Review: Barnängen All Over Rescue Body Balm

Hi loves! Today I have for you Barnängen All Over Rescue Body Balm (200ml). I picked it up last winter and have been using it on and off.

The body cream comes in a plastic tub and has a beautiful white and blue packaging. The formula of it is thick and has a whipped feel to it. This body balm is infused with protecting cold cream. It acts as replenishing shield while absorbing quickly. This creams claims to hydrate, regenerate and restores skin softness.

Now I have used this cream on colder months and also on summer and the result is the same. It hydrates, but I need to use it morning and evening. If I don't do it I can feel how my skin is dehydrated. It feels good when applied, sinks into the skin fast and leaves it softly scented.

I would have hoped more from it to be honest. I do like the whipped texture and how it makes my skin feel, I just want it to last longer. I have body butters/lotions, which keep it hydrated longer. I don't think I would repurchase it. Even though it leaves skin soft and nice after application.

It might work better for someone who doesn't have dry skin. I do wanna mention it does contain parabens: Methylparaben and Ethylparaben.

Have you tried anything from the brand?

Review: NYX Holo Graphic Halo Eye Tint

Hi loves! So yesterday I filmed a video and at the moment I'm living in Belgium and in Netherlands, so I forgot my camera cable in my Belgium home and I couldn't get the video up :'( You will get it on Wednesday.

Today I have for you lovelies something amazing! I feel like all companies are into liquid eyeshadows, like the Pixi Beauty Liquid Fairy Lights (review) and their amazing. I was few weeks ago in NYX store in Belgium and found there their Holo Graphic Halo Eye Tints (2.7ml) There is altogether 5 shades available and I have Gold Bar and  Fairy Dust.

These bad boys come in a clear tubes and I love I can see the beautiful colors I have. These come with a classic doe foot applicator, which makes applying the shadow easy. I do like to blend out the edges very softly with my finger tip.

These don't have any glitter or sparkle to them. These give more iridescent sheen with a slight color shift. These are light weight cream shadows, which are long lasting.
You might not know this, but I'm in my 30's and I have bit of texture on the lids and these don't bring it out or make it worse. I find so many other cream shadows can do that. I love to use these when I have applied all my other shadows as a show stopper. These are pigmented and it is easy to blend these into other shadows. These look so beautiful and I love how it adds drama to my eye looks. You can see me wearing Fairy Dust here. Its my favorite out of the two shades I own.
On the left you can see the swatches of both shades. On the picture these seem like one color, but actually these have beautiful sheen to them, which adds dimension to the shadows.

Gold Bar - is  beautiful yellow gold with a yellow green shift to it. Its so pretty, I could watch the swatch of it all day :D

Fairy Dust - is light taupe whit pink sheen to it. Its even more magical then Gold Bar.

I'm so happy with these and so far these haven't irritated my eyes in any way. I was worried a little because one of their mascaras made my eyes itchy after using it longer period of time. Nothing like this with these gems. If you are interested you can find all 5 shades here.

Review: BYS Cosmetics Star Stamp & Liquid Eyeliner | Black

Hi loves! I think I have found my perfect liquid liner! Its BYS Cosmetics Star Stamp & Liquid Eyeliner in shade Black.

It has a black matte packaging and is a size of a pen. Its double ended: one end has felt tip liner and the other has a star stamp, which is fun to use time to time. It contains 8ml of product and is around 5 euros.

This is nicely pigmented black liner. To compare the blackness with By Terry (review) then that one is more rich black. There is also huge price difference. I love the applicator of the BYS liner way more and I can do star stamps, which is fun. The felt tip of this liner is not stiff and I can easily make a flick. I love wearing winged out liner, so its a must have for me.

Reasons why I love this liner so much are that its affordable, doesn't bleed, which so many affordable liners do and it lasts on me all day with out flaking or smudging (I haven't cried when wearing it, so I'm not sure if its water resistant). And the biggest reason is that it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes. Down below you can see the swatches of the liner and the stamp.

I picked it up when I was in Estonia (Kaubamaja) and I'm so glad I did. Black liquid liner is something I use all the time and I don't wanna pay 30 or 50 euros for it. If you are interested in it you can find it here.

Review: Premier by Dead Sea Prestige New Enforced Formula Eye Cream

Hi loves! I have been using over 2 weeks Premier by Dead Sea Prestige New Enforced Formula Eye Cream (35ml, $349.99).

As usually the packaging is similar through out every range they have. This is their most classic range I think and the cream comes in a dark blue glass jar with golden cap. I love all their products come in a glass packaging, it makes it feel luxurious. This is dermatologically tested and fits all skin types.

This cream helps to fight against fine lines and wrinkles. Also it helps against puffiness and there is SPF17 in it, which gives protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays. The formula of it is thick in the beginning, but it melts into the skin easily and feels light weight.

Key ingredients:
Vitamin A - its essential ingredient to balance dry skin. Helps to even out uneven skin.
Vitamin E - helps to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines.

Full ingredients list: Aqua, Isopropyl Palmitate, Caprylic/Capric- Triglyceride,Propylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate Se, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sweet Almond Oil, Peg-20 Stearate, Lecithin ( Liposome Complex), Beta-Carotene, Retinyl Acetate, Tocopherol, Rosa Moschata (Seed) Oil, Avena  Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Maris Sal (Dead Sea Salt), Hyaluronic Acid, Serum Albumin, Glycerine, DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, BHT, Carbomer 980, Aloe Barbadensis (Leaf Juice), Triethanolamine, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Citronllol, Benzyl Salicylate, Hydroxyisohexyl-3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde.

It hasn't irritated my eyes in any way and I have sensitive eyes. I'm not happy to see parabens in it. If a cream is over $300, I don't wanna see parabens in it. If you check their page, the full ingredient list is not listed.

The product itself is good. It is also scented and its faint. It hydrates my under eye area so well (I have very dry under eye area and not all creams hydrate it as much as it needs it) and the fine lines are less noticeable. I love the cream, but it brakes my heart to see parabens in it. I'll use it up, but I'm not sure I would repurchase it. Maybe when they have sale, I'll pick it up again or try other eye cream from them, which doesn't have parabens in it.

If you wanna check it out for yourself, you can find it here.

Have you tried this cream?

How do you feel about parabens in skincare?

Review: Pixi Beauty Glow-y Gossamer Duos and Liquid Fairy Lights

Hi loves! Today's review is on Pixi Beauty Glow-y Gossamer Highlighting Duos (8.3g, £20.00) and Liquid Fairy Lights (5g, £15.00). I have all 5 shades of the liquid eyeshadows. These products were sent to me.

The highlighting duos come in a sleek packaging and has a clear lid. I love all their products has the same vibe. I like the compacts come with two different highlighting shades and both of these are stunning!

The formula of these feel silky to the touch and these look absolutely stunning on skin, which you can see for yourself on the demo video down below. These feel light on skin, blend beautiful and instantly give you a glow. I like these duos more then my Becca highlighter. These can be intense, but at the same time its easy to blend out and get softer look.

Both duos fit my pale skin tone, but the darker shad from the duo Delicate Dew looks better when I'm more tan or I have bronzed my skin up.

Lets talk about the staying power. These do last on me through out the day and at the end of the day its still blinding, but little bit less then in the morning. If it was in the morning 10 then in the evening its 7.

Their Liquid Fairy Lights are absolutely stunning! There is altogether 5 shades available: Crystalline, SunRay, Rose Gold, Passion Light and Bare Brilliance.

These come in a clear tubes, which reminds me of lip gloss tubes, but instead it contains gorgeous glittery shades. These come with a flat doe foot applicator, which makes applying these easy.

I like to use these to give my eye looks something extra. I love how reflective these are and its the easiest way to apply glitter. These brighten up every eye look, because they are so reflective and packed with glitter.

I like to apply these in one swipe on the lid and blend out the edges with y finger tip. I have noticed when I wanna go in the second time, I end up lifting up the product. I like to get the desired look with one go.

On the left you can see all the shades swatched.

  • Crystalline - is white and filled with different colors of glitter. It makes it look so dreamy and whimsical. I love to use it in the inner corner of the eye. Its my favorite one!
  • SunRay - looks in the tube pale gold. It has gold and silver glitter in it. It looks beautiful in the middle of the eye.
  • Rose Gold - like the name says its rose gold. It looks like liquid metal. Its my second favorite shade. It looks absolutely gorgeous on the lid and its the shade I used in the demo.
  • Passion Light - is orange bronze with silver glitter in it.
  • Bare Brilliance -  is darker bronze shade with silver glitter in it. It looks stunning paired with smoky eye.

I have to say I love these Liquid Fairy Lights! These stay put all day, doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes and most importantly the glitter doesn't transfer :) These are a must have to any glitter lover ;)

Down below you can see the demo part of this post.

If you are interested in the highlighting duos you can find both shades here and I'll link the Liquid Fairy Lights here.

Review: L'Oreal Infallible Pore Refining Primer

Hi loves! Today I have for you review on L'Oreal Infallible Pore Refining Primer (20ml, 7.50€).

The primer comes in a light pink packaging and has pump. I like how easy it makes using it, but I don't like I can't see how much I have left.

This is pore hiding primer, but it doesn't feel heavy on skin. It looks like pink lotion when pumped out and I use one pump on my face. It claims to hydrate the skin, make the makeup last longer, mattify and hides pores.

It has been very hot here, so I don't know how it would hold up with my combo skin, because I just constantly sweat (thats how hot it has been here). Today I the first time when the weather is cooler and so far my makeup holds on just fine, no oiliness.

I like to blend it into the skin with my finger tips. It sinks into the skin fast and lets my skin breath. It instantly gives me brighter looking skin and also my pores are less noticeable. It makes me feel like I don't need a foundation and I have just done spot concealing. You can see before and after picture down below.

I have been the longest time into NYX Pore Filler (review), but I think I like this more, because how light it feels. It doesn't feel like I put a thick layer on and I love the brightening effect it has. If you are interested checking out this primer you can find it here.

Have you tried any of their new primers?

Review: By Wishtrend Vitamin 75 Maximizing Cream

Hi loves! Today's post is on By Wishtrend Vitamin 75 Maximizing Cream (50ml, $25.19).

The cream comes in a dark plastic jar and has a white cap. The cream itself is like a gel, which is perfect for my combo skin. It doesn't contains any parabens, ethanol, steroid, artificial colorants and is artificial fragrance free. It has pH 6.0 +/-1.

The formula contains 75% vitamin tree water and vitamin E. It prevents aging and loss of elasticity. Its also rejuvenating and vitamin tree water increases the absorption of vitamin C, so its great to use it with other vitamin C products. Its so light weight and sinks into the skin so fast. It feels on hot summer days so refreshing. I can't imagine using anything else on summer.

IngredientsHippophae Rhamnoides Water (75%), Butylene Glycol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate, Copolymer, Betaine, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, 1,2-Hexanediol, Panthenol, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Elaeis Guineensis(Palm) oil, Elaeis Guineensis(Palm) Kernel Oil, Dimethicone, Beeswax, Allantoin, Arginine, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Ethyl Hexanediol, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil

I love this cream! It hydrates my skin, makes it plumper, doesn't feel overwhelming to my combo skin and it didn't irritate it in any way. It contains soothing ingredients like allantoin, arginine and panthenol. Its fantastic cream for summer!

If you are interested in it, you can find it here (its an affiliate link).
