Review: Eczema Honey Skin Soothing Cream

Hi loves, today's review is on Eczema Honey Skin Soothing Cream (€27.95, 113g). It was sent to me as PR. All my thoughts are 100% mine. Before we go into this review I want to mention I have never had eczema and I have oily skin type.

The cream comes in a clear jar and has a white cap. I like the simple design of the packaging. It looks like medicine for the skin, which it kind a is.

It's hand made in the USA and isn't tested on animals. It fits all ages and skin types, and they use only premium quality ingredients. There is no scent to it. I also like I can actually pronounce all the ingredients and understand whats written. No need to google :)

The formula of the cream is thick and the first ingredient in it is honey (I'll list the full ingredient list down below). But it starts to melt once it's on the skin and sinks into it surprisingly fast.

After opening it's recommended to keep it in a refrigerate, because honey can melt. It also gives a more cooling effect, which feels great in the mornings. Wakes me up right away.

This cream promises to have cooling and soothing effect on the skin, which is effected by eczema. Like I said I have never had it, so I can't comment on that. I can say it makes a wonderful face cream. And there is other ways to use it, which you all find down below.

How to use:
  • For soothing and cooling use it 1-3 times a day on effect area. You can add aloe based lotion or water on top if desired.
  • Can be used as a mask. Apply thick layer on the skin and keep it on for 20 minutes. Remove with clean and warm towelette. It has moisturizing and soothing effect.
  • It can be used as a moisturize anywhere on the body. Just apply it on the dry patch and gently massage it into the skin.
  • You can use it to remove makeup with a cotton pad.
  • As a lip balm.
  • I have been using it as my face cream. I use it morning and evening. It provides instant hydration to my skin and my makeup applies so well on top of it. I also have noticed I don't get as oily through out the day. It makes my skin plumper.

Ingredients: Organic Pure Honey, Organic Almond Oil, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Grated Beeswax, Organic Sunflower Oil, Pure Spring Water, Optiphen
  • Optiphen - is globally approved preservative. It has a moderate hazard level according to  EWG's Skin Deep (link).

I'm so impressed by this cream. It is one of the best creams I have tried a long time. My face loves this stuff. It hasn't caused any irritation or allergic reaction. I feel this cream gives all the hydration my skin needs to be happy and look young.

If you are interested, I link it here, so you can check it out for yourself. I highly recommend it, your skin will love you. It's good stuff!

Review: Nars Mosaic Blush | Fireclay

Hi loves! I do wanna say I'm sorry for missing this week so many posts. That's why I'm catching up on weekend. My mom is here, so we have been traveling around Netherlands. I have been showing her all my favorite places.

Today's review is on Nars Mosaic Blush in shade Fireclay (11g). It comes in a beautiful black packaging and has the brands logo on it. The compact is so sleek, which makes it perfect for travel.

Inside there is a mirror, highlighter, blush and a bronzer. All 3 shades are pigmented and work well together. I like to use the highlighting shade on its own. It give me the glow with in, which is so stunning. The bronzer and the blush mix together well and look on my cheeks beautiful. If I mix all 3 shade together I get a beautiful glowy blush. The blush and bronzer are matte. I also like more matte blush.

On the left you can see the swatches of all 3 shades and in the end is the swatch all the shades mixed together. I feel that way it looks weird on me.

Let's talk about the staying power. I have to say it lasts on me all day with out fading or getting patchy. It all applies evenly and I didn't have any issues apply it it. I usually like to apply blush with a powder brush. It's my personal preference.

I'm so happy with this blush and I got it in Look Incredible April subscription box. I love that subscription box and I'm glad I got it. It's limited edition blush and it's perfect to have in my summer routine. I love how fine the powders feel and how easy and fuss free it is to work with these.

Have you tried it? Will you pick it up?

Review: Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer | 010 Porcellain

Hi loves! I'm happy to share with you my thoughts on  Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer and I'm in shade 010 Porcellain (5ml).

It comes in a clear tube and has a classic doe foot applicator. It is available in 8 shades and I bought mine in Kruidvat. There is also color correcting shades available. The shade range is more pale. I don't think it goes deeper, then medium skin tone. Thats what I see on their EU page.

The formula is waterproof and claims to last 12 hours. I have to say it does stay on longer then all my other concealers. It looks fresh all day. It's the best drugstore found and it covers up everything. Its super full coverage and little goes a long way. It claims to cover up spot and even tattoos. I also noticed it didn't dry out my under eye area, which is usually issue for me. Everything seems to dry it out.

I like to blend it into the skin with a beauty blender and this concealer just sinks into the skin and becomes one. It doesn't look or feel heavy, which I like. There is nothing worse, then heavy concealer under the eye.

I'm over the moon for this concealer and I like it doesn't brake the bank. Its only 3.50 euros here in Netherlands. If you are interested I highly recommend checking this concealer out, its the best.

Which is your favorite drugstore concealer?

Review: Lord & Berry Scubapro Waterproof Mascara | Black

Hi loves! Today's review is on Lord & Berry Scubapro Waterproof Mascara in shade Black (7ml, £16.00). There is also demo at the end of the post.

The mascara comes in a black tube and has a small mascara wand. Its in perfect size to do lower lashes and you don't end up getting it all over the lower lash line. With this wand I can coat all my lashes easily without making a mess.

The formula of the mascara is waterproof and it leaves my lashes full and gives them lot of length. The mascara formula is not too wet or dry, it's just right. I personally hate wet mascara formula. It's the worse! It leaves my lashes feeling soft, no crunchy lashes here.

I have been wearing this mascara on and off a month and I haven't had any issues. It leaves my lashes beautiful and it doesn't flake or smudge. The only downside is the removal. I need to work bit harder to get it off. Usually oily makeup remover does the job.

I'm so happy I tried this mascara. It's the perfect summer mascara and I'm so happy I have backup of it :) If you wanna see how it applies and looks on my lashes, watch the video down below.

Review: Derma Roller System + Serum + Sheet mask

Hi loves! Today I'll be reviewing Derma Roller System and they where kind enough to sent it to me. Thank you so much. I have the Derma Roller in size 0.5mm ($99.95), their DermaC+ Anti-Aging Serum (30ml, $59.95) and the PerfectDerm Collagen Mask (23g, box  $39.95 and contains 15 mask). I have been testing the serum and the Derma Roller out almost 2 months and I have to say I'm so excited to share my thoughts on it. I also have first impressions on the mask.

I have been doing Derma Roller (link) treatment every twice a week. It has been clinically proven to help treat common signs of aging, like fine lines, wrinkles, cellulite and scars. It fits all skin types. It can be used anywhere on the body including face.  It also helps to boost the absorption of skincare products and it helps the skincare products to go deeper levels of the skin and make them more effective.

How to use: Before using doing the treatment make sure your working station is clean. I have used it only on my face. I rolled the derma roller gently on cleansed skin 4 times vertically and 4 times horizontally, 4 times diagonally to the left and 4 times diagonally to the right. That is enough to stimulate collagen and elastin formation in the skin. Avoid using the derma roller on your eyelids and lips. After that I went in with my usual skincare routine. If I did the treatment in the morning I would use sunblock.

How to clean the derma roller: After treatment wash it under hot water. Disinfect the derma roller by placing it head first in a half a glass of disinfectant for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Then take it from the cup and shake off any excess liquid. Place it on clean towel to dry. After its dry place it in an original case.

It's my first time using this type of product, but I have to say I do like it. I used it between my brows and it did make the wrinkle there less noticeable and softer looking. So I'll keep using it :)

The Derma C+ Anti Aging Serum (30ml, link) comes in a dark brown glass bottle and has dropper. The serum has highly concentrated vitamin C, which helps to create elastin and collagen. Also vitamin E which is know anti aging ingredient. Helps to moisturize the skin and is rich with antioxidants. This serum claims to help with wrinkles, age spots and discoloration. It also helps to improve skin texture and restores natural glow. This fits all skin types.

The serum itself is white and feels on skin light weight. It sinks into the skin in seconds and leaves it feeling hydrated and soft. There is no stickiness to it. Since I have started using it my skin looks brighter and I have glow to the skin. Recently I have got compliments about my skin and its all thanks to this serum. This serum gives my skin extra plumpness, which I really like. I highly recommend this serum, if you are looking a new anti-aging product.

I also tried out Perfect Derm Collagen Mask (link), which is formulated to provide your skin enriched nutrients and collagen. It feels refreshing and helps to keep the skin young and healthy. It helps to reduce the look of lines.

How to use: Before using the mask I cleansed my skin and applied toner and essence. Then I applied the collagen mask and left it on for 20 minutes. It can be left on till 30 minutes. After that I removed the mask and gently patted left over essence into the skin.

This mask left my skin so plumped, soft, hydrated and overall brighter. I had so good skin and makeup day after using it. I do think I'll pick up the box of these. Its so awesome mask to have in my routine. Even the wrinkle between my brows disappeared for the day.

My impression on all 3 products is great. I love the little tool, which helps all my skincare to be more effective and helps my skin look more beautiful. The serum is just fantastic and the sheet mask is just brilliant. I love it!

Review: Givenchy Everwear 24h Wear & Comfort Fluid Foundation | Y100

Hi loves! Today's review is on Givenchy Everwear 24h Wear & Comfort Fluid Foundation and I have shade Y100 (30ml). It comes in a beautiful glass bottle and has a pump. It's available in 20 shades.

It's a full coverage foundation with satin finish. The formula is waterproof, moisturizing and oil free. It also has SPF 20 and PA++. It blends into the skin seamlessly and gives me perfect base. I have been testing it over 2 weeks now and I have been loving it. I find its best applied with a beauty blender. I love the coverage it gives and it seems to blend into the skin better, leavening it flawless. It also feels light weight on skin, even when the weather gets hot ;)

Let's talk about the shade range. It does have 20 shades, but there is only 2 shades for beauties with more deeper skin tone, which is a shame, because this foundation is amazing and they need to add more deeper shades to the range.

The shade I have Y100 has yellow under tones and fits me perfectly. I think it's the first time where I can say that this is the perfect match for me. It does't look bit too light or dark.

This foundation lasts on me all day and at the end of the day it doesn't look bad. I do get oily through out the day, because I have oily skin type. I like I don't loose too much coverage through out the day.

As you can see I'm in love with this foundation. It looks absolutely beautiful on skin and the staying powder is amazing as well. Down below you can see the demo part of this review :)

Review: Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder

Hi loves! I'm all about loose setting powders and I have been testing out Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder  (10.5g). This beautiful powder comes in a plastic jar with a gunmetal brown lid, which has special design. Inside there is golden shifter, which doesn't let the product come out (it works together with the lid). There is never mess with this loose powder. Everything about this product looks and feels is so luxurious.
The loose powder is finely milled, feels light weight on skin and is formulated with soft focus light reflecting particles. These help to blur imperfections and minimizes the look of pores and fine lines. This powder fits all skin tones and it give natural skin finish. Its formulate with out talc and is perfect to use for baking the under eye area.

I have only good things to say about this Hourglass powder. I'm so impressed. It feels so light weight on skin and makes my skin feel velvety smooth. I do get oily through out the day, but this happens with all the powders I have tried. I have oily skin and there isn't a product, which can take it away.

Have you tried their loose powder? Which is your favorite Hourglass product?

Review: MAC Cosmetics Pretty Punk Palette

Hi loves! Today's review is on MAC Cosmetics Pretty Punk Palette (€ 39.50) and I picked it up from Douglas. The palette comes in a cute cardboard packaging and closes magnetically. Inside there is a mirror, 8 eyeshadows and a highlighter.

This palette looks gorgeous inside out. I love the colorful eyeshadows and these have amazing pay off, so pigmented. There is 7 metallic eyeshadows and one matte. The shadows in the palette have new formula and also includes a new texture with ultra metallic foiled finish. The palette also contains gorgeous highlighter, which I use as eyeshadow. It looks too much as highlighter on my skin tone.

These apply beautifully and last all day (I always use a primer under my eye looks). I do like to apply these with a finger tip, because most are shimmers and I use them as a lid colors. It bothers me to add shimmer into the crease. I don't know why, but it just makes me uncomfortable.

  • Unfazed - is a bright silver and its the Molten Foil Metallic. Its so pigmented and gives lot of pay off.
  • Pretty Pink'ed - is a sparkly frosty white. It's a pressed pigment. It's the perfect topper shade.
  • Pin Me Up - is a a light lavender and is foild shadow. Its perfect lid color. I love to wear it daily
  • X-Punk - is a metallic purple. It's a 3D molted metals.
  • Anarchista - is purple with blue pearl. This is the highlighter. It's an opalescent.
  • Denim Genes - is a cerulean blue and has satin finish. It's one of my favorites.
  • Ripped Tee - is a sparkly acid green and its from the 3D molted metals family. It's so gorgeous and bright shadow, one of my favorites from the palette.
  • In my Genes - is a deep brown with with red and silver pear. It's a pressed pigment. It looks beautiful all over the lid for more smoky look.
  • Gameplayer - is a darkest black and its from the creamy matte family.

I have to say I do like the quality of the shadows in this palette. I do not use it as my only palette, because there is not enough mattes for me to create a look. I do like to pick usually one or 2 eyeshadows to create a look and pull in another palette. That's also reason why I didn't do a demo on it, because I do not do shimmers in the crease. I find this palette doesn't give me shadows I can create a look and then go out. Its great source for pops of color.

Have you tried this palette? Will you pick it up?
