Review: Maybelline Dream Wonder Foundation

Hi loves! I haven't done YouTube videos very long and I'm not the best at it, when it comes editing my videos. I am getting better, but not as fast as I would like. As you know in YouTube you can give a video thumbs up or down and I got my first thumbs down. Some weird reason it made me very happy and I'm now motivated to do better :) Has something like that happened to you?

Anyway back to the topic :) I have been using Maybelline Dream Wonder (20 ml) foundation in month of October non stop. I have it in shade 10 Porcelain Ivory and it has SPF 20 in it.

Maybelline Dream Wonder foundation comes in glass bottle, but it doesn't have a pump. It comes with a dropper and let me tell you its a mess to use it. You can see it yourself down below. That's so annoying!

First of all I love that I was able to find my shade and it matches me perfectly <3 There is so many different shades available, that everyone can find something to match with their skin tone.

The formula is very runny and you need to shake the bottle well before you apply the product. I'm not a fan of the dropper, but I like the foundation itself. It blends into the skin easily and feels light weight and silky. Its not full coverage foundation, but it covers up most of my problem arias. It also makes my skin less shiny, which is always a good thing :)

It has a bit of chemically scent to it, but you can smell it only from the bottle. Other then that you can't smell anything. The staying on power is good, but I still need to do touch ups through out the day.

Here are before and after pictures :)

Before

After

Overall I like this foundation and will keep using it even though it has this horrible dropper. I like how it feels on my skin and the coverage.

Have you tried Maybelline Dream Wonder foundation?

Thanks for reading! :)

  3. I don't think it's been released in europe has it? I use the L'Oreal Nude Magique and I heard they're comparable. Did you try that one?
I would really want to try this new Maybelline one! :)

  7. I wanted to try this but I heard it's not that good if you have oily skin. Also, the dropper isn't really convenient. Thanks for sharing this!

  12. I've not seen this in the UK but the applicator would put me right off, what's wrong with a good old-fashioned pump?! Haha. It sounds like a nice formula though :)

  14. I'm pleased you didn't let the thumbs down get you down and have instead allowed it to help you drive you more! Great way to say screw you! I wasn't even aware that maybelline had brought a new foundation, I must go and have a look now! x
