Review: Lancôme Ombre Hypnos Stylo

Hi beauties! I feel like all brands lately have come out with cream shadow sticks. Is it just me? Anyway I picked up Lancôme Ombre Hypnos Stylo in shade 01 Or Inoubliable ( 1.4 g, 24.95 EUR). All together there is 8 different shades available and I picked up mine in Douglas. If you are interested you can see all the shades here.

The packaging of it is really stylish. It comes in a simple black pen form and the end of it is in the color of the shade. I find its really handy when you are hurry and looking something and you need it fast. Its a twist up pen, so no sharpening, which I'm all about :D I can say I have gone better at sharpening business, but I still prefer twist up pens.

The formula of this cream shadow stick is long lasting and it really does lasts all day. It survives sleeping and after crying its still in place. That's amazing, at least in my book ;)

The shade I went with is shimmery champagne shade. It has the most gorgeous golden shimmer to it. Its a perfect shade to use in the inner corner, plus you can be sure its there all day and doesn't wear off. The swatch of it doesn't do justice, in person its more shimmery.

What I first noticed, when I applied it was that it felt bit tacky. It took some time to set in place and when it does, it doesn't move anywhere. It works well with powder shadows, if you wish to apply on it. Also it blends out well, but you need to work fast.

Its a pricey number, but if you see it on offer or you have Douglas card, which gives you 10% off, I do recommend it. Its long lasting and perfect for days when its super hot and you feel like your going to sweat all your makeup off.

Have you tried any of these Lancôme cream shadows?

Thanks for reading! xo's
