Review: Kiko Artist Collection

Hi loves! Kiko is a brand I haven't tried much, but the more I try the more I have been impressed. Everything about their products is with good quality from the packaging to the products itself. I picked up few items from their Artist collection, I got Signature Eyemarker (1.6 ml, 6.90 EUR) and Artist Stroke Mineral Loose Eye Shadow in shade 01 Bespoke Rose and 03 Pop Brown (2.8 g, 6.90 EUR).

Lets talk about the liner first. It comes in a white pencil and has interesting applicator, which I have never seen before. That was one of the reasons why I picked it up and it claims to be long wearing.

As you can see from the picture above the liner is wide and flat, which makes easy doing fat and slim lines. It took me some time to get use to the applicator. In the beginning it wasn't easy for me to use it, but now I feel like I got a hang of it.

The pigmentation of it is good, but I feel my Maybelline gel liner is more pigmented and more true black. Its my personal preference. I do like I don't have to use separate brush for it and its really fuss free to use.

It lasted on me all day with out fading, but it does smudge when I rub my eyes.

Both shadows come in a little jars, which have a net on top of the loose eye shadow, so it all doesn't come out. Its one of the best ways to store the loose eye shadow in it, in my opinion. Its always a mess to move with loose eye shadows, but the net didn't let too much product come out at once.

I have been using a brush to apply these and I can tell I didn't get a lot of fall out, which surprised me (loose shadow and all). These are also nicely pigmented and blend like a dream. Also lasted on me all day with out fading.

The shade 01 Bespoke Rose doesn't show up on the swatch too well, because its so light shade. It looks gorgeous all over the light, perfect for daily wear ;)

03 Pop Brown looks more plum shade to me with shimmer in it. Its perfect shade to use when doing a smokey eye or deepen up the outer V. Also its nicely pigmented ;)

I like the eye shadows more then the liner. Non of these products irritate my eyes and I have sensitive eyes. I guess this is another plus for the liner. I'm still loving the shadows more though and these are perfect if you want to try out loose eye shadow.

I'll link Kiko webpage here, so you guys can check it out, if your interested.

Have you tried anything from this collection?

Thanks for reading! xo's
