Hi loves! Eye shadow primer is something I always use and the reason why I take the step to use a primer on my lids is, that my shadow looks nicer and lasts longer. I usually use Too Faced shadow insurance, but I have put it aside to try out Cailyn Bright on Eye Balm (7.8 g, $15).
It comes in a little jar and has a twist off cap on it. I personally don't like the packaging because I need to go in with the brush or a finger. I usually use a separate brush to apply it.
The product itself is pigmented and is perfect to conceal the lid. It gives even color to the lid and all the eye shadows I apply on it are more intensive then with out the Eye Balm.
Cailyn products are made in the USA and are not tested on animals. Their products don't contain ingredients like petrochemical, phthalates and other harmful ingredients.
I apply it on the lids and let it set before I apply any shadow on it. First things I noticed was how well it evens out the skin on the lid. It feels light weight and all the shadows I have applied on it, look more vivid and brighter.
The staying on powder overall is great. If I don't have super long days the eye shadow stays on crease free all day. When I have been traveling the longest time, I have noticed some creasing.
Ingredient: Aqua, Kaolin, Copernicia Cerifera Wax, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Oleic Acid, Stearic Acid, Acrylates Copolymer, Aminomethyl Propanol, Silica, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben
Overall I'm happy with this eye shadow primer. I got it in Style Tone box, which is available in Belgium and Netherlands. I'm not sure where its otherwise available in Europe, but if you are living in the USA you can find it here.
Have you used their products before?
