Hi loves! Its the last day of my vacation and tomorrow I'll be flying back home. Before I leave this sunny place behind, I want to share how I kept my skin safe this trip. In the beginning I did get burned and its was my mistake. I forgot reapply sunscreen (the warm weather and sea made me forget everything :P) and stayed too long time in the sun. Pale girls like myself has no business staying 5 hours in the sun. I did suffer for 2 days, but it thank god past.
After that episode I payed extra attention to my skin and its condition. Before I started my day and went out side, I applied sunscreen and I made sure I would reapply it through out the day.
On my face I have been using Biotherm Creme Solaire Anti-Age (50 ml) and it has SPF 50. It feels light weight and its described as melting face cream. It says to reapply it frequently to maintain the production. It does have a slight sunscreen scent to it, which I do like. Don't ask me why, it just reminds me of summer. After that first time of burning I did reapply it trough out the day and I didn't burn again. In the beginning when I apply it, it leaves the skin sticky, but its only for few seconds. After that there is no stickiness.
I used up my Nivea sunscreen the first day and I bought a new sunscreen from brand called Apivita. Their Sunscreen Face & Body Milk for Kids (200 ml) has SPF 50 and 78% natural ingredients. It has a sweet apricot scent, if you don't like typical sunscreen scent, you might like this. Its also water resistant. The formula of it is more thick and takes longer time to sink into the skin, but I really don't mined as long as it keeps my skin safe. I used it only for body, because it felt too heavy for the face. I also reapplied it through out the day like it recommends on the package.
These have been the product I kept my skin safe and I didn't end up getting burned again :) What do you use to protect your skin?
Thanks for reading! xo's

Lovely that you use a product with high SPF, I'm up to 30 at the moment but have yet to try one that's higher!Loved though that Biotherm feels light even though it's high in protection! Havee to look it up further!! Xx

If I don't wear high SPF when I'm south I'll get sunburned. Otherwise SPF 30 is enough for me x
DeleteI'm such a huge fan of SPF. It's SO important really for every single day! Do you know if either of these products use physical sunscreens, or chemical ones?
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know, I have to check
DeleteIt's so hard to find a decent facial SPF! I'm hopeless at remembering to reapply as well, such a bad habit :/
